Central location. A bit dated.
Pros:

The location is very central.
Room was a good size with good kitchen and laundry facilities.
Very helpful staff.

Cons:

A bit dated. Furniture was a bit worn and shabby.
Bathroom a bit mouldy.
No sea view which was a shame given the location.
The air conditioning control didn’t work in one of our rooms, which made it very cold and there was no duvet, just a sheet and cover, so it was cold in the night.
Staff did try to fix it and provided blankets on request when they couldn’t.

Great but could do with a few little adjustments
Pros:

The room was set up nicely, clean and tidy. the pool was in a great spot. The staff at the front desk were great and very helpful. The whole hotel is nice smelling and clean which was great.

Cons:

The air conditioning lights on the panel are very bright trying to sleep with them was a little difficult. The lifts didn't really feel safe as they kept making clunking noises. The toilet roll.holder is very far down not sure why but wasn't easy to get the paper off.

Incredible location, staff, rooms and amenities
Pros:

I've stayed here multiple times and every time has been incredible! The staff are amazing, very friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are amazing, we have been given a room with a partial ocean view and overlooking the pools. Highly recommend staying here

Conscience and a great start to our FNQ visit
Pros:

Close to down town Cairns and Esplanade

Cons:

We had hot water in the shower first evening but then cold water We were not too worried about this as the weather was hot
