Relaxed Vibe, Close to the Beach
Pros:

The rooms were spacious. Breakfast was nice. There is a laundry facility on site. Close to everything.

Cons:

It would have helped if the front desk staff was a bit more welcoming at the check in and explained the details at check in.

Nice people. Good location. However, this price in other areas would give you a 5 star hotel.

Incredibly disappointed in both the day and customer service
Pros:

The location is perfect, it’s in walking distance of the beach, ferry terminal and all the little shops and restaurants.

Cons:

We have a small dog we checked into and paid for a pet friendly room. Upon getting into the room, we noticed that there were several urine stains on both the carpet as the fabric chairs in the room. Before setting anything down or unpacking anything I went straight to the front desk to make sure that they knew the condition of the room. I did not want to be billed for cleaning the front desk said OK we have it noted. Thank you. You will not be charged for the cleaning of the room within the first half hour attempting to turn the TV on. It did not work. I went to the front desk and asked them if they could fix it in individual being promoted as a manager came to the room fiddled around with the chords on the back of the cable box and got it to work we mentioned again the condition of the room and the carpets she said well what can I do? It’s a pet friendly room. The people that stayed in the room prior were build for cleaning the carpets but we have not had time to do it. We asked for a different room. They said they were sold out of all pet friendly rooms. We did not have a choice but to stay. We wore our sandals the entire time and went out and bought our own bedding and mattress cover from a local store.

Fast-forward to two days after the day, we have done everything we could to contact customer service via phone. We finally got an email back from customer service asking us what the situation was we explained thoroughly. They thanked us, said that it was noted and said that they would speak with the hotel. We later got a response from them that according to the hotel, everything was fine. The room was checked by a manager, and there was nothing that needed to be done from this point I asked for a phone call repeatedly and never got one. It is very unfortunate that this was handled in the way that it was handled. I would have loved to stay here very often, but will never stay again and I hope you don’t either.

Cons:

The mattress too soft, it seemed especially worn down on my husbands side (the one closer to the door) and subsequently he had a terrible night of sleep and woke up with a sore back.

Our annual business trip is made more pleasant by staying here.

Nice spot, poor service.
Pros:

Position of the hotel was nice. Edmonds is a lovely, quiet suburb. If you are happy to catch the train in to Seattle and back during commuter times when it runs, it's a lovely scenic and comfortable trip. Outside of those times though it is a little trickier with transport.

Cons:

Our room service was very poor. One night of our four the room was serviced properly, on another 2 it was only partially serviced (one of the beds not made, bins not emptied, towels not replaced, glasses not washed etc.) and on one night it was not serviced at all. When I went to the front desk to request the room be done, they said housekeeping had gone home and I had to make the bed and change towels etc. myself. All in all a very disappointing experience.
Sofa bed mattress was very thin so not the most comfortable. Main bed was fine.
