Breakfast food was horrible!!! I was stranded in Miami and was at another location earlier in the week and the breakfast was great! Keep in mind this this the same food, but the preparation was greatly different!!! Such a huge disappointment!! Someone needs to investigate the food preparation at this location.

Did not have our reservation , we booked through booking and was told no room available and 2 gentleman at the front desk were like not our issue , booking booking booking there problem, very rude and unprofessional, offed no help to even help us find a hotel, woman manager finally helped us find a place, can’t recommend because of the way we were treated, will rethink any future bookings with Holiday Inn brand

Pros:

This Holiday Inn Express was very clean. It has been renovated. We stayed here after our cruise. It is in a great location. It is about 10 mins from Fort Lauderdale airport. It is also across the street from a small shopping center. There are also sites within walking distance to visit. Mac, at the front desk, was extremely nice and friendly. He gave us a map of the places where we can walk.

We might stay closer to the Airport
Pros:

The Manager was very effective in his duties with a high volume of people cruising. On checking out, the front desk printer was not functioning. He carefully input each customers email so they would get their receipt.

Cons:

There is no crosswalk when walking over to the Mall that is directly across 2 lanes each way.
