Village Catedral Hotel Resort & Spa

Restaurant had very good meals, variety was good, flan was over-the-top.
Continental breakfast (included in my package) was well stocked with options, but the coffee and tea were not hot. Scrambled egg was cooked to order.
Spa was very nice, including sauna (hot or dry), private whirlpool, massage, pool, hot tub; but the exercise room equipment needed repairing.
I would return to/recommend this property.

Positives:
Good area, walkable to resort, close to restaurants at the base. Great views from room. Get your own food cause they had all you need to cook. Sauna was nice and hot, heated pool was warm, had jacuzzi. Staff was friendly. Felt bad for staff because they were clearly making mistakes because they were under-employed. Almost all mistakes could be blamed on poor management. Breakfast had great selection but only of carbs. No eggs though, that's extra.
Negatives:
Overpriced for what your getting. (3k for 6 nights). Lack of staff led to repeated mistakes by overworked front desk. Pretty much ongoing complaints from guests could be heard from my room. Was supposed to organize a pickup from airport, they didn't. Was supposed to organize a taxi for pickup from property to restaurant: they called taxi late resulting in pickup being half hour late and almost missing my reservation. Randomly tried to charge $10 an hour for private sauna use until enough guests complained they made it free. Steam room never worked once. Jacuzzi was small and broken for over half my stay. When it was working it was lukewarm. Bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. They stuck to twins together to make a full, resulting in massive hump. Complaints made changed nothing except swapping one twin for another. Back was in pain by end of trip. Gym doesn't even have proper yoga mats. Gym essentially a stretching room plus a few cardio machines.

Overall: Overpriced.

Excelent location and crew are really helpfull , but suite are old and not aligned with the price

spa , sauna, et piscine très agréables, grand calme, un personnel très accueillant

Fue una estancia agradable. La personal atienda bien los visitantes y ayuda en todos los problemas. Los desayunos son excelentes.

Hotel bem localizado para pessoas com maior interesse no snowboarding e ski. Equipe muito atenciosa. Instalações um pouco antigas mas sem comprometer. O quarto é bem espaçoso e equipado.

Viajamos para Bariloche para praticar Snowboard, ao chegar no hotel reparamos que o hotel é simples com moveis velhos. A Internet não funcionava uma lerdeza incrível, aliás em toda a cidade a Internet era péssima. Ruas em lamaçadas, sujas e com poeira. Hotel caríssimo pelo que oferece e sem justificativa para ser tão caro. Não voltarei ao Hotel e nem a Cidade. Além disso chegamos as 4 da manha no hotel e nos cobraram uma diária, mas ao sair antes também não devolveram o dinheiro. Não Recomendo!

I've stayed I'm hotels in betters for half the price. In fact I left a day early because I really satisfied. Old and grimy.

O village catedral Fica a quase 20 km do centro, se voçe só quer saber de neve e sky este é perfeito... porem nao tem vida notura no bairro se voçê quiser esticar ate mais tarde no centro vai precisar de um dinheiro para taxi ou ficara ilhado.Todos os quartos possuem cozinha completa o que é legal para economizar. O charme do hotel é a vista para as montanhas congeladas, a simpatia dos funcionarios e a simplicidade das coisas. custo beneficil em baixa temporada foi otimo .

Fue grato ver que habían actividades para los huespedes. Personal muy cordial, lo único que podría sugerir es mejorar la mantención del hotel.

Muy buen hotel en la villa del Cerro. Habitaciones tipo departamentos totalmente equipadas, excelente iluminación con vista a la montaña. Excelente trato del personal, muy amable. Desayuno excelente muy completo. Hicimos una excursión a la noche con caminata con antorchas , fogón y picada en el medio del bosque muy recomendable, muy linda, los tipos unos copados. Spa super completo una pileta hermosa. El resto de los servicios spa un poco caros. La ubicación si bien esta en la base del cerro hay que caminar como 700 mts para la góndola cosa que puede ser cansador al regreso al cargar el equipo y el cansancio del día. Baño lindo, no lujosos pero completo con una linda ducha que funciona bien ideal para after ski. Calefacción por loza, funciona perfecto (al menos en la hab 10) nos morimos de calor la hicimos apagar.
