Great hotel if after relaxation
Pros:

Very quiet resort and rather full of the older generation.

Entertainment try, but are catered for the more aging community. The harp man was really epic.

Lots of the couples started dancing inn the evening - which was lovely.

The staff cant do enough for you and big shout out to Jessica and Neidy (from Cuba) who were often on the Pool bar. The animation lady (didnt get name) who got me addicted to some shuffle board game near the pool.

Also the lovely Beatrice with the radiant red hair on the main bar who did a mean cocktail. Id love to be brave and dye my hair like that!!

If you want to go on holiday, relax, not fight for a sunlounger, this is the place to go.

I didnt use the free shuttle bus, as tried to walk off some of the beer and food calories.

The room was lovely. Bathroom sizable
Bed comfy, although two signles pushed together.

Overall a lovely hotel and great staff.

Whilst here go to the Loros Parque. There is a choo choo train vehicle that tskes you there for free. Its down the hill near the McDonalds. Take drinks and comfy shoes. The shows are amazing.

Very green and friendly
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel and really liked it, including its location. Nearby is the beautiful Taoro Garden, lots of greenery and picturesque views of Teide and the sea. The hotel is located on a hill, which is worth considering, as to get to the sea and the city, you have to go downhill and then climb back up the hill. But I liked this activity. However, the hotel provides a shuttle service to the shopping centre by the sea, but it does not run often and can be crowded during rush hour, as it serves several hotels in the area.
The hotel itself is very good, the staff are very friendly and always ready to help, the area is clean and well-kept, and there are always free sunbeds by the pool. The breakfasts are excellent — varied and fresh, with daily pastries. The hotel is quite quiet, which allows you to relax good. We had a nice room with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view from the balcony.
There are small shops and supermarkets nearby, but to get to the supermarkets, you have to go down the hill and then back up again. There are also public transport stops nearby, from which you can easily reach almost any point on the island.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel and have warm memories of it.

Beautiful views but no proper aircon
Pros:

The hotel is dated but fairly comfortable, the food was very nice, a lot of choice. The view from our room was breathtaking but be aware that the hotel is located on a steep hill so walking to town and back is extremely challenging. The hotel runs a shuttle service but in my opinion it could be better organised, we were not able to use it even once. The gardens are beautiful, well manicured and the pool area is nice. The biggest minus for us was a completely non existent air-con, we were offered a fun which only marginally helped. On last day when it became apparent that we won't be coming back we were told by a receptionist 'have a nice life' which we've found rude. Overall, I'd not recommend and we will not be coming back.

Friendly and relaxing
Pros:

We had a lovely break at the Taoro Gardens, the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The setting for the hotel is beautiful and excellently maintained. Our room was spacious and comfortable with amazing views from the balcony. Our weather was a bit mixed, but this just added to the adventure.

Excellent holiday.
Pros:

The hotel setting was very peaceful surrounded by lovely parks, and greenery, within walking distance of the old town and beeches. There was also a shuttle bus if needed, which went a few times each day. The food was lovely with lots of choices. Hotel seating areas were good, and relaxing, pool side was good. Lots of easy entertainment each night. The ambiance was very relaxed. Staff very friendly, in reception, and dinning areas, and cleaners. The stretching exercises was a great addition.
Cleanliness was of a high standard, beds very comfy.
Local bus easy to use, for trips and exploring local area. We would return again.

A good base for our needs
Pros:

My husband was running in the Spartan races, and we decided to add a holiday as well. Taoro Garden was well placed for us, and had a few parking options.
It's at the top of the hill, so be prepared for a long walk back up a very steep incline, or a lot of steps through a park on your return if you don't have a car or miss the shuttle.
It's a bright and clean hotel, relaxed and friendly. Food was good, staff very friendly and helpful. The common areas in particular are very nice.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was beginning to show signs of age, but everything worked and was clean.

Pros:

Excellent Hotel in quiet location surrounded by beautiful well kept gardens. Brilliant atmosphere, staff are all excellent, food exceptional & nothing is too much trouble for anyone connected with the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel & one major plus point for us there are no kids. From our hotel room we could see Mount Teidi on most days

Lovely, peaceful hotel!
Pros:

A very lovely hotel! We stayed here for the past 7 nights, the hotel itself is in a good location, it is on a hill which for people less mobile it may be a challenge but there is a shuttle from town ( Floor -1 of the main shopping mall).
We stayed in room 505, the TV and WiFi signal wasn't all that great in this room but we didn't come on holiday to stay put in the room. There is no kettle (we bought our own - £10 Amazon 🤣) but I'm sure you're able to hire one.
The food was a tad repetitive, tasted good though so no complaints.
There was always plenty of sunbeds available.
All inclusive drinks had a good selection of drinks including cocktails. Shout out to Manu (main bar) and Jessica (pool bar) great members of staff. Really, all the staff are a credit to the place and do a brilliant job.
The evening entertainment wasn't much.
I would say this hotel is mainly for the older generation (we are late 30's and often the youngest in any area) and mainly guests from Germany but that's just my opinion. There weren't many guests around our age or from the UK, this (and unreliable WiFi) would be the only downsides for us. I would recommend this hotel for someone wanting a peaceful time away chilling by the pool, drinking a cocktail or 5! 😉

Such amazing staff, would definitely return
Pros:

Really great value for money and AMAZING staff. They made the experience so good.
It could be a 5/5, but the evening entertainment is s bit lacking and the lighting is quite unwelcoming for evening, relaxing drinks. Other than that, it was all fabulous. We would go back!

Definitely for an older couple
Pros:

Just got back from here so heres an honest review. The hotel is nice and in a quiet area yes its a steep hill down to town and back up. We opted to upgrade to all inclusive when we arrived and it was definitely worth it. The staff are all very nice and work hard. No complaints about the food and no sunbed wars, rooms are dated but clean
However this hotel is aimed at the older generation definitely over 50+ we are both 47 and there was zero atmosphere. The same "band" played 3 times in the same week we were there and pretty much everyone had gone to bed by 10pm.
This hotel primarily caters for Germans and as a UK couple we literally stopped saying hello to people by the 3rd day because you got zero response. We dubbed it a German retirement home as that was the vibe it delivered. Definitely not for anyone younger than us. We dont like a hectic nightlife but this was too quiet and its not pleasant getting funny looks because your from the UK. Nice hotel but wouldn't return. We were room 234 and the sounds from the kitchen ie plates banging etc woke us up every morning and had to sleep with door open as air con is useless.

A relaxing haven
Pros:

We are staying at the hotel as I write this review.
I thought I would counter a poor review I have just read by observing what a fantastic stay we are having.
The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds away from the hustle and bustle. The food is fabulous- I’m hard to please as a vegetarian and I’ve never been bored and I have found the food delicious. Great breakfasts too.
Our room is great - we have a sea view balcony and it’s a lovely view both out to sea and up to the mountains. The bathroom has plenty of hot water and has nice products, although could be modernised would be my only suggestion.
There is a complimentary bus running into town and back most days. The pool area is great with plenty of loungers with parrots flying around the trees.
We have also enjoyed the evening entertainment which has all been good.
The drinks are reasonably priced including cocktails.
Overall, a fantastic hotel

Peaceful and Tranquil
Pros:

If you are looking to “get away from it all” this is the place for you. Just returned from a 2 week stay of total relaxation. The hotel is lovely, set high on a hill, the grounds are beautiful, lovely pool area with plenty of sun beds. You cannot fault the staff, they are super efficient and seem really happy in their work, always greeted with a hello and a smile.

We were on the all inclusive and could not fault the food, there was always plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner, lots of hot and cold options, each service also had a live cooking station offering fresh omelettes, pancakes and eggs at breakfast and both a fish and meat option at lunch and dinner. There were plenty of drink options available including cocktails and branded spirits, never had to wait more than a few minutes for a drink at the bars.

The bedrooms are large and spacious, with big comfy beds and plenty of storage although a little dark as the lighting wasn’t that great. The bathrooms although large definitely need updating, as appear old and dated and do not match the bedroom decor. Bath towels are very small. Would have preferred a walk in shower instead of a bath, which was really slippy (I nearly fell a couple of times) although after asking, a bath mat was provided.

The evening entertainment was poor, this went on till 10.30pm but for the two weeks we were there, most people had disappeared by 9.30-10pm which left only a handful of people in the lounge/bar area and on the outside terrace, this also must be quite disheartening for the acts when playing to an empty room. The outside terrace is not large enough for the amount of guests (and it was too warm to sit inside) it is set up with tables of four which left many empty seats. Tables need to be changed to accommodate 2 people instead of 4. Most nights we would have to go and sit on the downstairs smoking terrace (which was not comfortable or great as we do not smoke) until a table became available upstairs.

A free bus is provided to take you into and back from town, it is definitely worth the trip, lovely promenade with lots of shops and restaurants.

Note: you have to pay a daily fee to use the safe in your room and a 10 euro refundable deposit is required for the beach towels plus 1 euro each to swap for a clean towel.

We also used the spa on 4 separate occasions and would recommend the reflexology and the relaxing massage.

Overall we had a great relaxing holiday and would recommend this hotel to those looking for peace and tranquility.

A beautiful hotel with a fantastic view of El Teide
Pros:

We loved the hotel and the view of El Teide and the sea from our balcony. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice in the restaurant and the pool area was a relaxing spot for sunbathing. Everywhere was very clean and comfortable and it was a delight to watch the parakeets flying from palm to palm. I think the icing on the cake was the free shuttle bus into Puerto de la Cruz. It s a pity that it only operates in the day because it’s quite a walk down into the town. We shall certainly return.

A week’s stay bed and breakfast
Pros:

Pretty average not a 4 star hotel - rooms tired had to pay for safe / towels for pool ( even though a deposit was given back ) not expected from a 4 star hotel . Bedrooms were tired and bathrooms old fashioned .
Did not eat lunch or breakfast but friends we were with did said it was pretty average ..
Coffee machine awful in restaurant with powder milk
Restaurant staff v friendly
Reception staff rude and unhelpful
We were told there was no food available when we arrived at 10.30 and we could order a takeway… or walk into town a 20 min walk.
We’re not informed at time needed deposit for safe ….
Evening entertainment pretty poor too
Bar staff great
It was expensive for what it was - pool was lovely and gardens .

A great hotel!
Pros:

It's such a lovely hotel, I booked through a holiday package and viewed the reviews, so I knew this would be a decent place to stay. But the reviews didn't do the hotel justice.
First, the staff, everyone, was so helpful, polite, and friendly.
The food was excellent for an all-inclusive hotel, plenty of choice, lots of variations, and hot.
The rooms were great, a very firm but comfortable bed, cleaned every day, and lots of hot water.
The pool is good, a little chilly, but that is great when the sun is shining. The bar and snack bar were excellent.
The only issue I had was not listening to the advice of one person and not walk back up to the hotel. That was very tough. Do yourself a favour and grab a taxi back. It is a fiver.
I look forward to my trip back next year!!

Refuse to stay in Room 512
Pros:

Room 512 unsafe to sleep in!
Mould, damp, sewage smelling room with lots of flies know as drain guy/sewage flies. As soon as we went to the room we went straight back to the evening receptionist who wouldn’t move us as he said the hotel was fully booked. Toilet was flowing constantly but the receptionist had no interest when we told him. No maintenance came out. Bathroom door frame warped so really had to slam shut but very hard to open without using your full weight. On the last day (today) while I was in the bathroom someone let themselves into the room, I called out and they immediately pulled the curtains back on and left. I quickly went outside to see if it was the cleaner which it wasn’t so didn’t get to see who it was which raises concerns for security as we were on the ground floor.
Positives: all the staff, dining room staff, bar staff, cleaners were absolutely fantastic. Pool area and gardens are beautiful, food nice but a bit repetitive, evening entertainment not great needs ambient lighting not bright spot lights in the lounges. The outdoor terrace needs smaller tables for couples instead of tables for 4 so a lot of half empty seats. Public areas are very clean and tidy.

Perfect Hotel, very quiet and peaceful. Good food, excelent staff.
Pros:

Hotel was superb. Adults only, so very quiet at all times. Breakfast was excelent with a very wide selection of food, Bacon & Eggs or continental stuff, plenty of choice. Rooms were very clean and tidy with good facilities including a fridge to keep things cool. Air conditioning worked well. No complaints at all.
Reception staff were excelent, and extremely helpful.

Overall, the hotel was superb, could not of asked for better. Perfect.

The location is up on a hill above Puerto de-la-Cruz, so its an easy walk down to the sea, which takes about 10-15 minutes. Get a taxi back to the hotel which only costs 5 Euros if you don't fancy walking back up the hill, which is quite steep.

Very good
Pros:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had such a fantastic time at TRH Hotel Taoro Garden! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The staff are always smiling, helpful, and genuinely make you feel at home.

A special mention has to go to Manuel, who creates the most incredible cocktails – beautifully made, creative, and always served with such charm. Enjoying one of his cocktails in the evening quickly became a highlight of our stay and added a really special touch to the experience.

The food was also excellent, with plenty of variety, and everything was fresh and well presented. Combined with the lovely surroundings and friendly team, the whole hotel has a calm, inviting vibe that makes it easy to unwind and truly enjoy your holiday.

In the evenings there was live music, which was pleasant and low key. Personally, I would have liked to see a little more audience involvement and maybe a few themed or lively nights to encourage guests to mingle more — it could make the evenings even more memorable.

The only real downside was the gym, which isn’t very well equipped and mainly has an old-fashioned cable machine. However, this didn’t take away from what was otherwise a truly wonderful stay.

We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and very well looked after. Highly recommend this hotel for great service, amazing cocktails by Manuel, and a welcoming atmosphere!
