Caribbean Palm Village Resort

So grateful to the Caribbean Palm Village Resort. Our flight was canceled in the evening during the holidays and thus one of the busiest times of the year. We could NOT find a hotel with any availability. Someone suggested I contact this hotel and they saved us. We had a huge room with a kitchen. Everything was clean! The staff at the restaurant were so kind to us and kept the kitchen open past closing time. We did not get a chance to enjoy the facilities but they looked lovely.

We have a one bedroom apartment pool view it’s well equipped and comfortable. The AC works great you have a great outdoor space.. it’s a little dated inside but what it is is clean well managed. I’ve got no problem with that and if I wanted a rockstar place I would have had to pay four times the price and gone somewhere else.
This place is a hidden gem, a renovated pool area and restaurant in the last 10 years and added a pool bar. It’s fantastic….
To critique it from the North American perspective, they could improve the pool bar area by adding some energy . They don’t push happy hours. It could be a little more high energy that’s for sure.
My biggest beef is having to wear a bracelet like a wristbander or a cruiser in Cuba. They can improve that piece for sure, if your key card works and it gets you into the resort,that should be fine. Or track guests by name but the wristband is Mickey Mouse on a high end island That’s the only complaints I have.fantastic stay,still here and highly recommend

Relaxing resort a little dated but very clean and friendly service.
Resort has 2 pool areas.
About 1 mile to the beach and they do have shuttle service.
We had a car but you really don’t need one. Once you get your gps working it’s easy to navigate the roads.

My stay was very pleasant. Friendly staff and a spacious room. Parking was readily available. I also enjoyed a tasty meal at their restaurant.

Loved this place got so much character. Rooms spotless so spacious with everything you need. We didn’t think dated as it was all in keeping with the beautiful building. Pools and outsides were maintained and thoroughly cleaned at all times. We are well travelled and would say this is one of the best places we have stayed at. Great they have security at all times liked that. Staff so helpful nothing to much trouble for them. Would definitely return didn’t want to leave. I would recommend. I have family living in Aruba and we were allowed grandchildren to stay. Keep up good work.

Arrived and told no ressie! Come to find out aftwr all my proof and every question answered by docs and photos of ressie, they had put it down for the wrong day and never apologized or took ownership! So as family sat and we waited! 30 min later they realized they screwed up and never apologized! Drinks are expensive at bar, bartender couldnt speak english and no help getting pool towers when arrived in evening upon check in as there were zero in room! We stay here almost ever yr b4 our normal hotwl, this will be the last time here! Place was practically empty!

Roaches in kitcen area n bathroom,my GF didnt sleep whole night,left all lights on plus TV.
Called front desk all they said was they will tell housekeeping,

Good location, nice rooms spaces, the pools and jacuzzis. Only could have a small playground for small babies, nothing big something to distract the small guys when you are in the hotel.

I'm so glad we only rented this place for a single night. I don't think I could have been here with my family for more than that. The building is very old. The restaurant was right next door and excruciatingly loud (music playing nearly always and on full blast at times.

The beds were uncomfortable. They didn't offer blankets at all - just bed "sheets" that we used to cover ourselves. They had extra "blankets" in a weird dresser but it looked very unclean.

Again, the people managing and security were very nice people.

But I would not stay here again.

Very clean property, extremely friendly staff and the restaurant on site is excellent!

The restaurant on premis over charges and charges extra for condiments ie. 1.00 extra for sugar for coffee.
I was attacked by a security guard from the front gate to the building i was staying in. When i brought it to the attention of thw branch mamager he said they out source security and its not the resorts fault
Nothing was done about it. Security is not nice to handycap people. Management does not care about the clients that stay here now. This was my 2nd time here & it couldnt be more night and day from when i stayed here last year.
Until this place switches management in the resort amd in the restaurant here i would urge people to find a safer place to stay where security doesnt attack you and the restaurant doesnt price gouge you.
On the good side it has good ac and comfy beds & good house cleaning but its not worth your safty or your pockets being over charged while the food served was frozen food at top end pricing out here. As for me i will no longer be coming back to this place due to these concerns. I will spend my money in a safer place that doesnt charge extra for condiments.
Btw no where on the island charges for condiments except this place & after speaking with management there answer to change of policy is if we pay for it you pay for it regardless they over charge on everything here.
