Amazing
Pros:

Stunning hotel, pool and rooms very spacious and the bathroom was huge too very clean. I was worried about the monkeys on the reviews but they’re really chilled and mainly on the roof in the evening. Not bothered by people. I’m coming back to this hotel I loved it. Staff went above and beyond for you.

Cons:

In the evenings there are many monkeys in the hotel area, so it’s impossible to leave anything on the terrace or balcony. Housekeeping was inconsistent – sometimes dirty towels were brought as clean ones, and the trash was not taken out.

Really enjoyed our stay
Pros:

We loved it. Used Ubud as a base to visit different parts of Bali. We loved all the monkeys (both at the monkey forest and at the hotel which is situated right across the road!). Great accommodation and the staff were lovely.

Brilliant staff and spa but room needed a refurb.

A lovely place close to Ubud shopping and activities
Pros:

Location is good it's next to monkey Forest and you can walk up and down the street and find lots of interesting restaurants and at night they seem to have a night life of music. We walked to the art market which was good to find souvenirs,clothing. The restaurant staff were so kind and friendly and helpful. They do yummy smoothies at the restaurant. We went to the fire dance and you can buy tickets usually at the art markets in the evening.. that was amazing. The swimming pool was refreshing and it is surrounded by trees here and often you'll see the monkeys wandering around but you need to be careful they don't snatch your things. Beds were comfy and we had nice sleep ins. Breakfast was Indonesian and western.. I had a descent meal and nice to get started with it being included. The room was cleaned every day. Staff were courteous and friendly. The spa room was a lovely room and we had our nails done.

The hotel is very old and smells musty.
Pros:

The location is more or less good, close to the monkey forest, shops and temples. The pool is good too, they could improve the coffee.

Cons:

The smell of dampness is awesome, desperate, the bed had bedbugs, I was assigned room 303 and they were doing demolitions in the rooms on both sides, I booked 6 nights but I had to go two nights to another hotel to rest properly and the last night I booked a hotel in Kuta, I paid 6 nights and slept three nights in that hotel, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL, the place is already very old.

Pros:

Can't get a better location. Its right next to traveler-friendly food, shopping, an 23-hour market for water and easy walking to the Monkey Forest. Great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff!
