Coral Seas Beach Resort

Stayed for 4 weeks. Last hotel before West End. Large bright clean rooms. Fridge and microwave. In my opinion the best part of Negri l beach. Beach was wide plenty of sun beds, no hustlers. Staff friendly and helpful. The whole site was well kept. No complaints at all.

I booked through there e-mail . Found out a few days later we paid way too much . Then the restaurant well After 2 days of paying for breakfast we found out it was free . No pancakes -fruit bowl oatmeal etc. They only thing you could have was bacon + eggs . Then a few days later only toast and bacon . Nothing else . Lunch no body goes there . The burger and fries good . then they close at 4 pm Joke .Then the rooms . room 1 Broken safe -bugs- dirty tub area . Room 2 was ok till the sink leaked all over floor . Got that fixed next day . A few days later the toilet was leaking all over the floor .The maid mopped it up said its good . NO NO go tell the front desk . 3 hours later still no plumber . Went to front desk asked about the plumber . For what she asked . I told there's water all over the bathroom floor . Good thing i shut the valve off or the water would be running out the door .What a joke . Room 3 last few days to go. Turned on the A/C. about an hour later water from the A/C. was running down the wall onto the floor . Told the front desk .I'll get maid to wipe up . NO NO get it fixed that never happened . Get me some towels to put on floor . No more towels to give out Joke . Room 1-- 2 hangers Room 2 --3 hangers Room 3 none .What a joke Front desk people no help at all . The only good guy was Melvin the gardener . He keeps the resort and beach clean . Scott and is other security guys are good . The owner of this resort owns many more he does not care . We will never stay at Coral Seas Beach again

Don't stay here!! They do not tell u B4 checking in that their internet is out & been out. We stayed there almost a wk w/o internet & the only way I found out, I asked for the internet password. and then they drop the bomb on U. I had to work remotely while I was there. I asked them to move to the Sister property. then they tell me it is under construction. We lost over $40 in meat cuz Priceline said cooktop, drinking water, restaurant, etc that is false lies. The MGR never came once to talk to us or our food she did not give us the time of day! This so called Resort (HA, HA). Just take yur $. Worst Vscation in my life (and we travel Abt 10-15 times a yr! They practice "Customer no service"!! Stay away & get a real resort. Not this rip off place! They don't care Abt their guests!!

Staff was great

Stayed Jul 28 thru Aug 2. Good - a/c, frig, tv, bed, bathroom, internet off and on sometimes, and location. Bad - ants and secure valuables. I stayed at 7 or 8 Negril hotels and I had money stole from my room 2 times ($30, and $60). This time I took my money with me but 3X, I notice that someone had been in my room. On my first night going out. The security guard said "don't lose that key because it is the only key for that room. I thought that this was strange. How can a hotel have only one key for a room. How would the house keeping get in? ( I had to check out a 6am and the office open at 7am. I told the frond desk clerk and she said just leave the key in the room and lock the door. I did). I think that the security guard was telling me this to let my guard down. When I came back I notice that my bags were not as I left them and my house and car keys were at the top my things in my backpack. I had put them at the bottom because I know that I would not need them for 5 days but now they were on top. Second time, I had hide my electric razor and Bluetooth speaker behind the dresser draw/tv stand. They were still there but some had left the dresser draw/tv stand move away from the wall at an angle. I am kind of a neat freak and I can't stand to see something not straight so I know that someone had move the dresser draw/tv stand looking for something. 3X on 4th night out, I notice that my car and house keys were on top again. I like to make things easy so I know that I had put my keys back on the bottom, but there they were back on top again. I think that they most want cash but as times get worst they may take other things (phones, mp3 player, razors, phone charges, and anything that can be used and sold locally). Overall, good hotel but bring aloe for ant bites and bring less valuables as needed.

Beautiful property with a nice beach that is quiet and away from the crowd but a close enough walk. Customer service could be improved. Hotel is fairly basic but met our needs. Great cook to order breakfast for purchase at the restaurant - not too pricey. Would stay again.

Coral Seas deceived me. Photos online show a modest hotel with amenities. Being on the beach was very important to me and photos show the beautiful beach. The room I stayed in needed updating badly. There was mismatched furniture and only one mirror, on the bathroom wall, no full length mirror. No safe, no hangers, no TV remote. The worst part was there were stains on the bed sheets! I requested them changed and was told there were no more. Needless to say I didn't sleep on them.The following day the maid came and still same sheets. I complained again and she gave me the sheets to change because her shift was over. Totally unacceptable! This was the double room I stayed in. I had friends staying next door same room except clean sheets. The staff was friendly and pleasant. I gave 2 star rating for the beach and surrounding area and for the kind staff. I did get a glance into the suite it was totally updated. Coral Seas needs a makeover for all the rooms! I would not book there again.

This property needs some upgrading. The furnitures were awful and the bathroom needs work done

This is a nice place to stay if you don’t need fancy. Hot water, working air conditioning, comfy bed. The breakfast in the morning was good (both American and Jamaican). Parking was also available. The location was good and within walking distance of many places to eat and or drink. We liked the restaurant close by also. The one downside is the barking dog behind the hotel. Every morning it woke me. Staff was sweet and attentive.

Loved beach view while having breakfast. Did not care for dining staff. Waitress was rude/unpleasant, to say the least. Charming beach cottage feel. Good value

When you go outside was not kept. Checkin was absolutely horrible. It 40min to check in. Unacceptable. All rating on my stay 2

First day no towels and no toilet paper, this happened twice in the first 5 days. Two days we had no water, toilet plugged and no one to fix it. Got locked out the first night, security doesn’t have access to anything not even a plunger, will never stay there again, left after 8 days

As most of the reviews state, this property is very very basic. There are no bells and whistles.
It's pretty much just putting a roof over your head.
If you are planning to stay here be sure to pack yourself a bath towel washcloth and a beach towel, as they very well may not be available to you.
The restaurant and the bar was good. The beach was amazing! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, that along with the affordable rates will be what brings me back.
This place is very outdated, so if you are looking for luxury look elsewhere. This is at best a 2.5/3 star hotel ✨.
At least I know what to pack to make my stay more enjoyable next time around. Which will be my own bed/bath linen and cleaning supplies. Be sure to stop at the market to pick up water and snacks and don't forget the alcohol!!
So remember if you're looking for affordable rates in a clean safe friendly environment this is your place.
Oh yeah and the taxis are always at your service to take you anywhere you desire right at the front office (ask for Chuckie) he's at your service 24/7.

Enjoy your stay and don't sweat the small stuff, after all you're in beautiful Jamaica!!!🇯🇲

I like the piece of quite. I didn't like how they ran out of towels for bathroom and the air conditioner was not working properly in that room of 808.

For the first 4 days there were no beach towels,
Everyday they would rash on on the regular bath towers and only give one towel per 2 persons per two days.
On 3 of the days I ran out of toilet paper as they would clean the room, and say they ran out of paper and waiting for delivery.
For one of the days there was no water at all throughout the resort.
For two days we slept without pillowcases as they said they ran out.
The duvet smelled like urine.
They used the same mop water for cleaning all the rooms and they use the same mop water for the toilet bowl brush.
The whole resort smelled like dirty mop for days, including our room.
In the room we stayed at 906, the debris/mud from roof dripping on veranda when raining. We asked them to mop the veranda, but no one did.
