A vintage gem in Mysore
Pros:

The hotel is stunning and cozy. Pallabi was very sweet and helpful during meals. We loved the room as well. It was massive.

Cons:

There are 2 suggestions .

1) Doors leading to the balcony has glass partition at the top so it becomes very bright early morning itself particularly in east facing rooms . So if there is a curtain / screen it will be helpful .

2) For complimentary snacks it is better if you keep snacks prepared by your chefs only instead of using stored / packaged snacks .

Cons:

Horrible bed, mattress was very very soft due to excess use. Sheets/comforter were unwashed, could smell earlier guests' cologne on that.

Pros:

The facility was located centrally. But during the day the traffic outside the facility was extremely noisy with horns honking loudly. So if you are planning a staycation and quiet during the day or are working remotely- this is not conducive esp. if your room faces the road. The door to our room was not as secure as we would have liked it. I understand this is an old guest house renovated to be a hotel, but the door not being secure was uncomfortable for us to leave. This is important as the hotel notes said to not bring any valuables to the hotel!

Cons:

The front desk staff was friendly but the bell boys & other staff were always hanging around expecting tips for small tasks even opening the car door. The restaurant attached to the hotel was seriously unimpressive. The wait for food was extremely long & the food selection was mediocre at best. The waiters were inattentive.

Magnifique ! Le temps s'est arrêté dans ce lieu magique, avec son style colonial Britannique.
Les tenues du personnel en accord.
Voyage dans le temps garanti.
Tout était parfait.
Le personnel était très professionnel et attentif à notre bien-être.
Le déjeuner, était vraiment superbe ainsi que le dîner,
Notre chambre était spacieuse avec un grand balcon.
C'était au final une parenthèse reposante et luxueuse qui nous a fait du bien.

Brilliant, memorable and a real 5 star experience!!
Pros:

There was a bit of delay during check-in , but the staff more than made it up with their hospitality, kudos, very professional and a beautiful & rustic property to stay, thank you for the great memories !!
