Coconut Palms Beach Resort II, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room could use a little touch up but was adequate for our stay. Kitchen was more than expected and had everything we needed. Overall, we will go again.

Service persons were rude and and not helpful. They hung up on me twice and they would not budge when asked if we could check out later.

For the amount of money that we stayed at this property for 3 nights it was not worth it. The bathroom was unsanitary, the toilet clogged easily. The shower/tub and grout and tile was broken and horribly patched and filthy. There is no ice in the entire building and the refrigerator with the freezer the fridge worked great but the freezer kept nothing frozen and the sinks leaked. The balcony they advertised was barely a balcony 4 foot by one. I would not stay here again. 1000 for 3 nights for. 65.00 motel stay

We were going to Daytona for a festival for a few days and stayed at this property since it was about 20 minutes away and a less expensive option for a surrounding area. The room was clean but the air conditioner maybe needs to be replaced. It never went below 72 even after running all day. The body wash in the shower was empty and on our last day there we had no water (thankfully we were just checking out). I told the staff downstairs and was told they had to shut it off for an emergency.

I also didn't realize this spot is more of a time share and less of a hotel. There are no vending maches, ice, or a spot in the lobby to buy water/drinks/snacks.

The spot of the hotel was great though. The pool area was nice and clean with plenty of chairs. It was also so nice to just be able to walk out the gate and be right on the beach. The hotel was also very close to plenty of restaurants and stores where you could stock your room up with waters.

If you are looking for a cheaper place to stay by the beach and don't need amenities this would be a decent spot.

The 2-bedroom apartment was comfortable, clean, & attractive. However, the elevator across the hall was EXTREMELY loud (sounded like it was straining terribly to go up & down) and disrupted our sleep during the entire weekend. We asked to be moved after the first night, but were turned down. The office said that they would call an elevator technician, but that never happened. In addition, the pool next to the building was closed with caution tape & the attached gate leading to the beach was locked. Parking was across the busy street, which was inconvenient.

We always love staying at Coconut Palms. Rooms are very roomy, great views of the oceans, well taken care of & clean

Advertised a Tiki Bar and restaurant on the property, no such thing, clerk said it's been gone for years. Also advertised beachside lounge chairs and umbrellas but they did not have them. Also, pics and description make it seem like all the buildings pools and amenities are on the same property but they are not adjacent. The building we stayed at had 12 parking spaces for the whole building. Had to park down the street in another property. The range was rusty, the bathroom sink cabinets were moisture damaged, the exterior stucco on the beach side was chipping off badly and in need of repair and paint, the unit next door to us was being remodeled so a lot of power room noise to wake up to early while on vacation was not pleasant. I don't usually post but for the money they are charging Unwanted to warn others. I would like to mention that the staff was very friendly and helpful which was great.

I love staying in the cabanas .They sit away from the main building with kids and families . I prefer the ocean fron room with its own patio off master bdrm and layout of that one vs . the room I had .

Gwen and Dominic at the front desk were amazing. All staff were great. Pool and access to the beach was amazing. The rooms had a lot in them, but they were a little small for me. We had a queen size bed. It is a really nice room though. Comes with a table, balcony, microwave,fridge,sink, toaster,coffee machine, Etc..

Great condo complex right on the beach. 2 good size pools and small private beach area. Well equipped apartment, the 2 bedroom was a good size. No bar or cafe on site.

First time there. We live in Orlando and visit the beach frequently. We will be back

Our stay was good, property is clean, staff is nice. Restaurants are close and good food.

Pool is only open until 8 pm. Tiki bar that was supposed to serve food was closed the entire week. Parking is very tight. Rooms were fine but curtain rods kept falling down. No coffee in lobby in the morning

The location is perfect! Easy access to the beach and Flagler Street! The rooms are clean and have everything you need. We will be back again!

Upon arrival the room was dirty. I let the front desk know and the guy didnt seem to care. He put in for it to be cleaned the next day. A girl came the next day a swept the cereal up off the floor but nothing else. Evidently the guy who has cleaned it originally was fired. It would have been nice to get to switch rooms but the man at the desk wasnt very helpful.

I love this place . Booked 2 rooms . No issues at check in .Love the bungalow rooms.
