There wasn’t one told they had no cleaner

Cons:

Booked and paid upon arrival. Was told they had rooms but none that were clean. I offered to wait to have one cleaned.The girl at the desk said I’m not cleaning a room and I’m the only one here. I was told no room, I needed to get my money back. Rude and cancelled reservations sad run down

I would try again once the remodel is completed. I hope I'm not being to critical.
Pros:

The lady behind the counter was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and a nice size for 2 people over night. Check out was super easy and fast.

Cons:

At first when trying to get in the doors was very slow, actually had pry it open to get in. I know the hotel is getting a face lift and it will be beautiful when its completed, but shut the doors to the hotel rooms.
Our room had wallpaper peeling off. The tub had tape on the mirrors to hold them on the base of the tub. The fireplace was broken as in the glass had slid down off its track and the bottom grate had broken off. The TVs had no remote controls and the room smelled like old cigarettes.

Was a great place 15 years ago won't be going back

The mattress was old and horrible. Carpets and furniture were filthy. Room was cold could heating unit was not adjustable.

I chose that hotel because of the sauna and jettubs for some strange reason of which wasn't explained the sauna wasn't working so I was a bit disappointed and I still don't understand why a big hotel as this doesn't have microwaves in the rooms
