I liked the size of the room, the cleanliness and comfortable bed.
Nothing really.
Such good value for money. Great being just outside of Liverpool. Spa facilities were great I used the pool and sauna jacuzzi both morning and evening. Staff were very helpful. We ordered our food in the evening and brought to room which was great as it’s what we wanted. We paid £20 extra for late check out which was brilliant. Thick blackout curtains so I had the best sleep without waking and I am a light sleeper. The bed was unreal. Tv in the bedroom and in the living area. Absolutely outstanding for the money.
Bathroom was a little tight but I got ready in the changing room of the pool which had showers, hairdryers dressing tables so I was very happy. My partner had breakfast which he said was fantastic so we were both happy.
Hotel rooms are fantastic, however, lounge area could do with a brighter light, as not good for working in. Bathroom shower is outdated and hard to use. Apart from that we had a lovely stay, staff are very helpful and friendly.
Ideal location close to family. Stayed for two nights. Breakfast included which was fine. Family had evening meal for 10 of us and the food was great. I have stayed here before and will stay again.
Mix up with the bookings but it was booking.com not the hotels fault. Hotel soon sorted it so no problems.
The location was good, easily accessible to the town. The hotel facilities were good, I liked the gym good size and equipment. The room location was very convenient from reception and to access the gym.
No drinking water in room. Poor housekeeping - the room was not serviced I had to ask and still there was no service until next day which was still only the bin emptied and replaced the towels. They neglected to replenish the toiletries and the TV remote was extremely dirty. No attention to good hygiene standards.
Staff were lovely and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely.
The rooms need upgrading. The steam room was out of order and was very disappointing as we wanted to have full use of all facilities

The pool and sauna
Bed was comfy
Shaving hair in the back pocket of the toilet where tissues are. Same again when moved to different room this time there was a hair inside the box in the bathroom and more shaving hair. The manager rubbed her finger over and said it was dust. Please explain how small hair along with a hair that was the size of a pube got there then if it was clean
Staff were friendly and the gym was better than I had expected.
There was no fridge in the bedroom, some of the lights were not working and the shower looked very old. The hotel itself is a very old hotel which has not been modernised. It feels like one big pub rather than a proper 4 star hotel.
Staff and rooms were fine
No air conditioning as only booked for this reason because of hot weather,changed room and still none remaining rooms on floor were known to have none and was told maintenance guy was not available, this should have been flagged on booking not good enough really as like the place in general
