We have stayed at this location multiple times because we always know we will have consistent good service and clean , comfortable rooms.
One way in or out on an incline
Facility was centrally located, staff was very helpful, the room was very comfortable, and everything was clean. We would recommend this hotel for a long or short stay.
Lovely hotel in great location in historic St Augustine! Great view of the bay, idyllic scene.
Some road noise til around 10-11 at night, restaurants below and nearby
I booked a last minute room through booking.com and it said the office was open for check in until 6 pm. I arrived at 3:30 to a note that said to call the inkeeper for “late arrivals”. I didn’t understand as it was only 3:30. I tried calling and emailing for several hours - even text messaging and no one would call me back. Finally at 6 pm I called booking.com who got ahold of the Inn and they said they wouldn’t be available to check me in. I spent another hour trying to find lodging and missed dinner. It was very stressful and very unkind and inconsiderate. It created a very negative travel experience and evening.
loved the balcony view. Outstanding in the morning!!!!
Everything
I like everything
The front desk staff, mainly Brett was brilliant, couldn't do enough and was very very friendly, kind, polite and professional. The room was exceptional, really big, clean and comfortable and the shower was amazing as was the complimentary toiletries. The valets were really helpful and made sure to ask about our day and offer local tips for things to do and see. The location was incredible, right in the centre of everything and the views from the balcony were mind blowing.
Nothing, even though the hotel was being refurbed there was no noise or mess. Honestly cannot fault this hotel or the staff.
Superb location, very charming hotel, right in front of Castillo and in the very heart of historic district
older hotel fails to provide necessary level of comfort ( noisy ac, not so comfortable bed…)
Location
Thermostat in room never reaches appropriate temp or turns off. Very loud
We stayed bay front for the Nights of Lights. The hotel was beautifully decorated. I can’t say enough about the experience. The staff is amazing! From the parking service to the front desk as well as the dining staff. I can’t wait to come back!
Die Lage war das Beste am Hotel.
Ansonsten ist es sehr hellhörig. Die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut
This hotel is the best hotel to stay if you are coming to St Augustine for the Night of Lights Celebration. It is quite expensive during the event, Nov 15-Jan 15 but you get what you pay for in the experience. They always win the lights contest because they go over and above on the decorations and also the activities in the front of the hotel and street. Be prepared for massive amounts of people not staying there standing in line to get pictures. They have a garage for your vehicle but you can’t take it out once it’s parked because there are too many people out front and in the roadway. My room was not ideal and will request a different one when I come back next year. My window blinds were stuck all the way closed and I could not open them up because the battery’s were not charged. Maintenance man Mike was finally able to get two of the four working again.
Location, location, location!
I wish the Starbucks in the lobby had longer hours. Closed at noon
The hotel was beautifully decorated to befit the Nites of Lites festivities. The courtyard was gorgeous. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff was pleasant and professional. One staff member, front desk clerk Gabriel, went above and beyond. We were visiting with a bus tour and decided not to join the group in afternoon activities but had to meet them at the restaurant later. We asked Gabriel to get a taxi for us, and he explained that the taxi may not arrive in time, so he ordered an Uber on his account. Of course, we reimbursed him for the fare, the Uber arrived in plenty of time to meet our group for dinner. This young man certainly went above and beyond his duties and responsibilities!
