It is a pretty location
The hotel is run down and dirty.
Old and outdated too much $ for an old rundown place. Food was bad
Our room was amazing - the art, the classic New Mexican design, the size of the room and the comfort was beyond expectations. The bed was super quality, and opened to a park-like atmosphere. The hotel is historic!
The atmosphere is pretty good due to the employees i interacted with. My experience was good during checking in thanks to Daniel. He made me feel very valued to be staying there.
had an outstanding stay at the Sagebrush Inn in Taos! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and full of beautiful Southwestern aesthetic that really captured the spirit of New Mexico. The entire property has a warm, authentic atmosphere that made my visit feel special from the moment I arrived.
The Sagebrush Grill was fantastic, serving delicious food in a welcoming setting. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting Daniel at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely funny, making check-in both easy and entertaining. His great sense of humor and excellent customer service set the tone for a wonderful stay. I can't wait to come back!
I recently stayed at the Sagebrush Inn in Taos and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property has a welcoming Southwestern charm, comfortable accommodations, and a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the Sagebrush Grill. The food was excellent, with great flavors, generous portions, and friendly service. It was the perfect place to enjoy a meal after a day of exploring everything Taos has to offer.
Another standout part of my visit was my late-night check-in experience with Daniel at the front desk. After a long day of traveling, I was tired and ready to get settled in, and Daniel made the process quick, easy, and stress-free. He was professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made a great first impression. His positive attitude and excellent customer service turned a late arrival into a pleasant experience. Between the great hospitality and the fantastic food, I would gladly stay at the Sagebrush Inn again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taos.
I am usually not one to post but I have to for this place. Do not trust the pictures. It’s worn down and very very dirty. We came here for one night with our two kids and the first room we got in had a huge whole in the wall where giant black ants were crawling all over the floor. We switched rooms a few doors down and requested a room on the second floor but the women at the front desk said no because “we books through a third party”. who doesn’t?! No hot water, no bottled water, no WiFi. Asked for more pillows to keep out kids from falling out of the bed and were given pillows without cases! The women said she couldn’t find any meanwhile the parking lot was completely empty. The carpet was FILTHY. We asked for a price adjustment at check out based on our experience and were told no again because of booking through a 3rd party. The only positive was that it was quiet at night because no one was there… lol. Save yourself and do not stay here!
I love Taos. This location is perfect for all the things I enjoy doing. Also the privacy of the rooms and the quiet ambiance in the evenings is a bonus for me.
It was on the 2nd floor and I have bad knees.
After an exhausting cross-country road trip, I arrived at the Sagebrush Inn in Taos late at night, tired and ready to get some rest. From the moment I walked through the doors, Daniel at the front desk completely turned my night around.
Despite the late hour, Daniel greeted me with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. The check-in process was quick, efficient, and stress-free, which was exactly what I needed after spending countless hours on the road. He took the time to make sure I had everything I needed and answered my questions with professionalism and kindness.
What stood out most was how welcoming and personable Daniel was. It's not often that you find someone who can make a weary traveler feel instantly at ease, but he did exactly that. His positive attitude and excellent customer service made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another reservation.
The Sagebrush Inn itself was comfortable and charming, but Daniel's exceptional service was the highlight of my stay. Employees like him are the reason guests return, and I truly appreciate the effort he put into making my arrival a pleasant experience. If you're staying in Taos, you're in good hands with Daniel working the front desk.
I recently stayed at the Sagebrush Inn in Taos, New Mexico, and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring everything Taos has to offer.
What really made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service I received from Lori at the front desk during check-in. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Lori took the time to share her extensive knowledge of the area, recommending local restaurants, attractions, and activities that helped make my trip memorable. Her recommendations were spot on and gave me a much better experience of Taos than I would have had on my own.
It's rare to encounter someone who genuinely cares about making guests feel welcome, but Lori went above and beyond. She made me feel valued as a guest and set the tone for a fantastic stay. Honestly, I would return to the Sagebrush Inn just because of the excellent customer service she provided.
Thank you, Lori, and the entire Sagebrush Inn team for a great visit. I look forward to staying here again the next time I'm in Taos.
The location was quiet and only a short drive into Taos. The room was exceptionally beautiful and tradional. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The attached restaurant has good food and live entertainment. We will return, and this will be our first choice for a place to stay.
I can think of nothing. The place is wonderful.
