Pros:

Muy cerca del barrio de Salamanca y también de la Gran Vía. A una cuadra del Parque del retiro. La habitación super amplia, la cama y las almohadas comodísimas. Excelente desayuno. Hay un bar hermoso donde se puede tomar una copa o merendar. Gimnasio pequeño pero comoleto. La atención superlativa.

Cons:

Nada. Todo estuvo genial.

Well worth the cost. Beyond 5 star.
Pros:

First of all, the staff at this hotel were the friendliest, most helpful, most knowledgeable we encountered during our 2 week trip.
The hotel is BEAUTIFUL - capital letters on purpose. Elegant, beautiful, historical. There's a Miro in the lobby and other stunning pieces of art everywhere. It is clear that time and attention went into the renovation.
Breakfast is well worth the price. Authentically Spanish with lots of options in a gorgeous setting. It felt like breakfast in a real palace :)
Location! Across the street from the Parque del Retiro, where you can wander for hours. Within walking distance of Prado and lots of interesting sights in the historic district.

Cons:

If I had to share one concern, not a big deal, but the shower drain was slow. But, again, the pros beat the cons for this stay. Wish we had more time and would have stayed another couple nights.

The staff was amazing and helpful and the hotel was nice, I would book it again when visiting Madrid.
Pros:

The hotel is located so close to walkable attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Cons:

The interior rooms, I booked 3, we were assigned were very small and nothing like the pictures I saw when booking. To me the room price didn’t match the level of room I was expecting.

Luxury hotel within the heart of Madrid
Pros:

Breakfast overpriced but ambience was worth it! Service was great but food was just ok.

Cons:

Size of room small for the price! Understand Madrid is a more expensive city for accommodations. Lived being across the street from the park and within walking distance to Prado.

The location of the hotel is good

Cons:

The hotel does not match its 5-star rating. The price is too high for what is offered — the walls and wallpaper are worn, the room is very dark and poorly lit, and there is nowhere to sit at the reception while waiting.
Overall, the experience was disappointing and we would not recommend it at this price point.
