This place is thumbing their nose at all of the Holiday Inn brand standards. No restaurant, no bar, pool closed, can't use Holiday Inn points or Chase reward nights. Can't believe it is still an IHG property. I stay at IHG properties because I know what to expect. Not here. Would be lower if it wasn't for the good restaurant and bar across the street
The hotel is right off of that area's main street. There are a few options for dinning that are within a walkable distance and there is on site parking, this hotel is also pet friendly.
How clean it was staff very friendly, no problem parking.
Property around it.needs some work especially thr parking lot
My experience at this Holiday Inn was excellent. Clean, clean clean…..most importantl to me.
I was not told nor was it evident that the pool, spa, and restaurant was closed. The restaurant was only open for breakfast. I didn’t feel like it was a good stay.
Short staff required the from desk lady to have to work three different positions. Which left long wait times for check.
When we booked our trip. It said nothing about the pool being renovated. Website stated an arcade but you guys doing have one.
The hallway smelled like pee. I understand you allow dogs but it’s still a hotel and should be clean.
Pool down for repair. In the room sheer movable curtains but "thick" curtains at the sides of the windows that don't move because there is no rod for them to slide on. So if you want to sleep in without the sun or parking lot lights keeping you up, go somewhere else.
No
Our room smelled horrible. The tub had mold in it and the neighbors kept us up all night. We had to air out our room at one point because it smelled like raw sewage
The whole place smelled like a wet dog. In the halls, on the elevators and in our room. There were big dogs everywhere we turned! I wish we had been told that thid place was more of a pet motel before we booked cause we would have stayed somewhere else and will never go back. The girl at the front desk was very rude when I asked her about there pet policy also. As if the dogs had more rights then I did. Like how dare I ask any questions about the pet policy! Terrible!!
Remodeled hotel that's walkable to downtown. No free breakfast was available due to having an attached restaurant. As others mentioned, the pool was still closed. Bed was comfortable and hotel was quiet.
Grounds keeping needs done. Weeds were terrible.
Everything was good except that I had called two days before check in and requested joining rooms. I was told that it was no problem. I called the day before to double check and was told it hadn’t been put into the system. We were able to get rooms next to each other but traveling with children it made it difficult having to go out in the hall and knock all the time. The doors were so heavy that I could not open them by myself.
The hotel was reasonably clean, the room windows are right on the parking lot and the street is loud. the windows are not very good. The room had an off smell to it, but it was clean.
Well I thought it was ridiculous, that I booked for 3 adults, and could only get 2 breakfast. When I asked about the third adult she stated we would have to pay $16.95. When I booked the room, it was not stated the pool would be in a renovation phase. Very disappointed. Was also told we would be charged an additional $100 hold, incase of party damage to the room. Really?? Im 61 years old, pretty certain you dont have to worry about "party damage"?? I thought the lady who checked us in was rude, and acted as if it was an effort to wait on us. No personality as a check-in staff. We checked in at 4:30 pm, so no excuse to be rude, it wasnt late. I have always chosen Holiday Inn Express hotels, but thinking I will look else where for a hotel with a customer friendly atmosphere. Bottles of water provided in your room, but if you use them, you will be billed $4 each.
Clean and comfortable stay.
The hotel was very busy so a lot of noise in the hallway late into the night. Also pool was closed so kids were running around without anything to do. TV was old and small for the size of the room. Remote had to be changed because battery was dead.
Not like past stays, which were flawless.
Good overall. Room was spacious. We appreciated the daily housekeeping.
Convenient location in downtown Marshfield.
The fitness center had one treadmill that was broken and one elliptical with a broken TV screen, so that was disappointing. Would have appreciated a breakfast included which I have come to expect at other similar properties.
