Great location and value, exceptionally clean and very friendly staff.
Pros:

The staff at Rex Lifestyle Hotel were very friendly. They made us feel very welcome! We were early for check-in, so they held our luggage until it was ready while we went for coffee and pastry. The room was impeccably clean and a nice size for just two. The shower is a bit small but no bother. There was a narrow balcony to step out on with a view of Vesuvius and The Lungomare Caracciolo and bay. The hotel is boutique style and has lovely art and decor. The breakfast room provided great options and great cafe'! Each morning we would be greeted by friendly staff who would be very helpful with any questions about navigating the city. We stayed 3 nights before heading to the Amalfi coast which was very easy to do by taxi to train station. The hotel is very close to Castel dell'Ovo although it was not open for viewing at that time. But we enjoyed walking outside and along the marinas. It was a very short walk to many good restaurants. The pizza at Diego Vitagliano was so delicious! The hotel is located in a quieter area, not such crazy traffic, which we really appreciated. The desk will call you a taxi which was readily available in just min. or two. I would definitely choose the Rex again! It was very good value.

La gentilezza vince su tutto, sempre

Complessivamente comodo, soprattutto per piccoli soggiorni. Personale poi cortesissimo, tutti.

Non piaciuto direi box doccia estremamente piccolo.

Aspetti da segnalare non positivissimi, ma che ho ritenuto caratteristici o dovuti alla tipicità dell'immobile, quindi non per forza una negatività, sono: mancanza dell'ascensore e area colazione estremamente piccola.

Suggerirei solo di gestirla con maggiore intimità, magari un separè tra chi attende e chi fa colazione aiuterebbe a non creare soggezione.

Nous avons eu un problème de nuisances sonores avec une chambre donnant sur un bar et l’hôtel nous a changé de chambre le lendemain ce qui a résolu la situation

Pros:

Very nice location and very clean rooms. The staff is outstanding! The location is great, but I especially want to praise the team at this hotel. Every day we were greeted with kindness and received clean towels and amenities, and the room was thoroughly cleaned.
