A beautiful medieval fort, with all the modern luxuries.
Pros:

We always love staying in this beautiful location. From pulling into the medieval courtyard to park, to the beautifully turned out rooms, it’s a real treat to stay here.

La propreté approximative de la chambre..
Le petit déjeuner ne pouvant pas être servi dans la chambre.
Arrivée très tardive le soir donc non présentation de la demande.
Crêpes annoncées mais absentes car étiquette à changer (dixit la personne présente)
Plus d’œufs brouillés…quelques morceaux de saucisses esseulés…
Viennoiseries trop cuites…

DÉÇUE DE L’EXPÉRIENCE
Pros:

L’expérience de dormir dans un château malgré que les chambres soient modernes

Cons:

Absence de climatisation en été est insupportable et le petit ventilateur mis à disposition ne sert à rien
Très déçue de l’accueil, on nous a dit que si nous n’étions pas contents nous pouvions partir.

Pros:

Le petit-déjeuner du matin était peu fourni, en revanche le personnel était très sympathique. Les horaires sont larges pour se réveiller tranquillement un dimanche matin !

Cons:

Il faisait chaud dans la chambre, malheureusement la prise du ventilateur ne fonctionnait pas, nous avons du le mettre dans la salle de bain, donc nous avions très peu d'air ... Il y avait des "poils" sur le radiateur, par terre, ainsi que de la poussière un peu partout ... Le ménage est clairement à revoir surtout dans une suite comme nous avions a 270€ la nuit sans petit déjeuner !! J'ai donné les remarques à la réception le matin ...

Hotellage in einer besonderen Umgebung.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt im Innenhof der Burg. Es ist die größte mittelalterliche Burganlage in Europa. Burgbesichtigung mit Eintrittsgebühr tagsüber möglich.
Die Zimmer sind bauartbedingt durch die Burg klein, aber ausreichend. Badezimmer modern. Obwohl Autos der Hotelgäste im Innenhof parken, ist es sehr ruhig. In dem sehr schön gestalteten Burgrestaurant wurde ein umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet angeboten. Fahrstuhl vorhanden.
Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs entlang des Maas-Radwegs. Fahrradabstellplätze mit Elektrosteckdosen im abgeschlossenen Raum des Hotels.

Cons:

Leider konnten wir am Abend keinen Tisch im Hotelrestaurant reservieren, da das kleine Restaurant voll belegt war. Es empfiehlt sich, rechtzeitig vor Ankunft im Hotel einen Tisch zu reservieren, da es in der Stadt nicht sehr viele andere Restaurants gibt.

Un hôtel confortable et très bien situé… mais encore un petit effort sur l’équipement des chambres

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, avec un personnel attentionné et aux petits soins. Malgré la canicule et l’absence de climatisation, les murs épais du château permettent de conserver une fraîcheur très agréable à l’intérieur. Nous n’avons absolument pas souffert de la chaleur.

Nous avons également dîné au restaurant pour notre anniversaire de mariage et avons choisi le menu en trois services. Tout était délicieux et à la hauteur de nos attentes.

Un très beau cadre, un excellent accueil et une très bonne table. Nous recommandons cet établissement les yeux fermés !
