Super clean and charming, it is a perfect cabin, comes with useful kitchen besides it is quiet and relaxing, completed be a nice garden and cool swimming pool. Kind hostess Maite. Best choice in Samara (need a car to reach it).

Hidden gem outside of Samara. Great space for families - very spacious, quiet, and clean rooms with a nice swimming pool. Walkable to Playa Buena Vista. The host are very helpful and communicative. Highly recommend!

Lamaite was an amazing host, welcoming from the moment we first messaged her about a special request for our large family, and throughout our stay. The cabins are very nice and well appointed, Lamaite keeps the, impeccably clean. The pool is beautiful, although warm like a bathtub (I enjoy this though). The location is great, quiet and tranquil, just outside the city limits (maybe a 5-7 minute drive?) We were also within walking distance to Playa Izquierda and Explore Samara Tours where we did a sunset horseback riding tour. Highly recommend staying here!

Outside of town a couple miles so peaceful with trees and swimming pool. Beautiful log cabin style building with spacious rooms. AC does not blow cold air so it takes hours to cool down the room. It is a little hard to get communications from the owner relating to entry. They say that they will contact you one to two days before you arrived to give you entry codes since the property is gated and locked. However, I had to message them three times through Expedia app before I got information. Still, all in all we would stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights (family of 4 with a baby), and it was very relaxing. The beds are really confortable, the place is quiet and the pool is perfect. We recommend Cabañas Lamaite!

Very cute duplex with the host on the property.
It is quite a trek to get to the property, very much off the beaten path and you can not walk to the beach from there, you must drive.
Beautiful landscaping, safe and secure.
Shower doesn’t get hot, just barely warm.
Metal roof so when it rains it is LOUD.
Beds were not super comfortable.
The host was very kind. Only speaks Spanish but greeted us with the most delicious banana bread.
Would recommend to those Costa Ricans escaping to Samara for a weekend getaway. Would not recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to the beach.

This property was a great find for our family’s stay in Playa Samara. The two cabanas and property are meticulously maintained. The owner is super responsive and you can tell she really enjoys hosting. Our three girls loved the pool. The property is walled in and feels very safe for children. The food was excellent as well.It is only 5 minutes from Samara.

The stay was perfect. We were there for a week, and our room was cleaned three times. The cabins and grounds are immaculate. The owners are working all day, every day to keep everything clean, safe, and welcoming. And the pool was surprisingly big for a two-cabin property! It was an incredibly positive stay.

I absolutely adored this property. It is obvious that it is loved and was created with love. I felt completely happy and at home. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay (family of four, two ten year olds). Super-nice and helpful people; terrific breakfast. You need some type of transportation to get to Samara, but with a car it's five minutes. Highly recommended.

Wir blieben mit unseren beiden Jungs (6 und 8) insgesamt 3 Nächte.
Sehr schöne, individuell und nachhaltig eingerichtete Zimmer. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt, der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich zum üblichen Frühstück in Costa Rica. Wir freuten uns nach vielen Gallo Pintos über Joghurt mit Müsli, selbstgemachte Marmelade und Kuchen! Die Strände Samara und Carillo sind in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar.

Wow, what a lovely place! It is peaceful and beautiful. Also, the hosts are wonderful people. I highly recommend Cabañas Lamaite!

Nice quiet clean place with friendly helpful hosts an excellent food.

Nice quiet area away from town. About a 30 min. walk to town, although we had a car. A little hard to find the first time, but worth it. Excellent breakfast and meals. Will definately return.
