Sadly the hotel looks very tired from the outside and seems to be shiny on the inside but only where you can see at a glance. On closer inspection you can see it’s not quite as clean and shiny as you would expect. The grounds however are beautiful and as we were there for a wedding the ceremony building was lovely.
Bed was very uncomfortable. Room extremely small could hardly move round it. Bathroom extremely tiny with no where to out anything, no where to hang towels except on a radiator towel rai placed above the toilet so if the lid was down the towel fell into the toilet. Ridiculous.
Staff behind the bar was extremely rude and slow, 1 lad was making cocktails whilst 1 girl constantly walked up and down the bar completely ignoring that I was stood waiting for almost 10 minutes the lad then said something to her and she the came to me with “yea, what do you want “ very rude.
Plenty of parking spaces and an ok hotel.
Well used hotel that looks a little tired. Also overpriced in my opinion.
Service by everyone and politeness, and food quality, also to get up steps to restaurant and bar had a mobile lift system
Room was a bit tight moving wheelchair and tight going in and out the door
Clean comfortable room and friendly staff with a lovely breakfast included
Simple check in with staff, ample parking. Very friendly staff, and a brilliant breakfast.
Provided travel cot didn't have a fitted sheet (important for baby safety) but this was communicated to us before, and so we brought our own cot.
We upgraded to a suite and really enjoyed the comfort of the room and the roll top bath.

Location was great for our purposes.
No hooks or towel rail in a very cramped bathroom. Toilet was very difficult to access
exceptional staff. Lovely room.
Breakfast let the stay down. Had to ask twice for porridge before it came 25 mins later. Hot Buffet not the best. - several items not very warm.
Staff were friendly, the room was a fair size for the rate charged. The outlook was reasonable, looking across lawns however the motorway could be heard (not excessive) if the window was open.
Bathroom was cosy but shower was spacious.
Building has character due to its age - pleasing exterior.
Grounds were well maintained and appear to be plenty of parking spaces
Walking past a couple of rooms and whilst looking in, their outlook was very poor.
Breakfast was supplied, choice only fair for a hotel of this size however restocking was slow. Our table was NOT cleared once whilst we were there which I feel is poor.
We were in room 109, due to layout of corridors it was not initially easy to find.
