Beautiful island, beautiful people and comfortable and safe surroundings.
Pros:

The staff was amazing, very polite and hospitable. The facilities and rooms are a great size. Beautiful views of the waterways. Location is perfect.
The buffet was good. We stayed for 7 days so I would have like to see some variation on the hot foods. The scrambled eggs, bacon and hotdogs were always the same. When I stayed at a resort in Madeira, we were given the option of fried eggs and eggs benedict etc. I did ask for an order of fried eggs and the staff was very pleasant but I was uncomfortable asking for a special order everyday. The coffee machine lines were very long. Would love to see that ability of coffee carafes at the tables or the staff coming around with refills. Its the extra little items that make a difference. Again these are just items i noticed but not deal breakers. I would stay there again.

Cons:

Overall the stay was great. I do feel that the two items that would make me hesitant to refer friends are
1.the carpets both in the hallways and rooms need to be replaced. I believe they have been washed but they are in need of replacement.
2. The bathrooms- although very large the glass walls and doors make the bathroom difficult to maneuver in and the molding around the glass is black. I can't tell if its mold or just old. Maybe time for some upgrading.

The place and location was good.
Pros:

I did not care for the breakfast, If you like a lot of breads and cheese for breakfast, it's great. The coffee was terrible and not hot. The view from our balcony room was nice and our room was clean.

The daily included breakfast.

Wonderful and definitely coming back!
Pros:

Loved the view! The room was good, breakfast was so much better than expected. This hotel was well situated and the staff were professional and very helpful when approached for local information.

Központi helyen lévő, kényelmes hotel, kedves recepciósokkal.
Pros:

Ponta Delgada központi helyén van a hotel, minden pár percnyi sétára van. A hotel személyzete nagyon kedves. A szoba kényelmes. Korábban is jártunk itt, amikor egy járattörlés miatt szállásoltak el bennünket a hotelben. Akkor a másik szárnyban voltunk és az ottani szoba jobb állapotban volt. Kényelmes volt az egy éjszakás tartózkodásunk, de mint sok régebbi hotelről elmondható a szigeten, egy kisebb modernizáció jót tenne a helynek.

Cons:

Egyetlen problémánk volt. A zuhanycső eresztett, amit úgy sikerült áthidalni, hogy fix állásban hagytuk. Jó lenne, ha az ilyen dolgokat a takarító személyzet jelezné a karbantartóknak, hogy ne a szállóvendégek küzdjenek vele.
