Pros:

Die Unterkunft war ein sehr geeigneter Rückzugsort, um sich vom trubeligen San Sebastian zu erholen, zudem war die repräsentative Villa sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und äußerst sauber. Das Personal war sehr gut geschult und wenn angefragt auch unterstützend tätig.

Cons:

Von einem Luxushotel in dieser Preiskategorie würde ich erwarten, dass man ein Interesse an seinen Gästen, zumindest nach außen hin zeigt; mein Gefühl war, dass das Geschäftsmäßige an erster Stelle stand. So wäre es z.B. wünschenswert gewesen, wenn man uns bei der Ankunft ein warmes Tuch und einen Willkommenstrunk gereicht und erst danach das Geschäftliche (z.B. das Hinterlegen der Kreditkarte etc.) erledigt hätte. Auch waren wir erstaunt, dass der bestellte Tee als Kännchen mit heißem Wasser und einem Teebeutel (von einem guten Tee kann da keine Rede sein) auf den Tisch kam.

Die Lage an der Hauptstraße war bei offenen Fenster extrem laut .Das Bett war leider sehr unbequem.

Locatie prima in 20 min te belopen. Parkeerplaats erbij. Moet je wel €14 per dag voor betalen😌

A lovely stay in beautiful San Sebastian
Pros:

There is a reason why Villa Soro is well reviewed and loved by so many visitors. The hotel is beautiful with the warmest staff. The breakfasts were delicious as was our one dinner in their restaurant. The room was bright and spacious. Parking is convenient on site and everything is safe behind a secure gate. Should we be fortunate to return to San Sebastian, Hotel Villa Soro would again be our first choice to stay. Highly recommend.

Un sitio lleno de encanto. Totalmente recomendable.
Pros:

El alojamiento fue espectacular, nosotros concretamente lo escogimos para nuestra noche de bodas, inolvidable.

A little 5 star gem !
Pros:

A little gem 5 star hotel , the staff are amazing always going that extra mile to allow you to make the most of your visit to San Sebastián and beyond .
The decor and amenities are first class , rooms spacious and well equipped.
Nothing for anyone is too much and you are always greeted with a smile, from arrival , to breakfast and on a daily basis from any of the staff you interact with .
Thank you for making our introduction to San Sebastián a very enjoyable experience . We will be back !

Our stay was like coming home.
Pros:

We had a garden room with a terrace that we could sit in if we wanted. It was private, comfortable and perfect to sit outside and enjoy the late afternoon sun after a busy day out. Our room was luxurious and perfectly relaxing. The choice for breakfast was excellent. You could have a continental style breakfast and a cooked breakfast, i.e. freshly cooked eggs done to the style you wanted.
The staff at Hotel Villa Soro are wonderful. They were always very kind, helpful and courteous. At one point I had left my telephone in a taxi that we had taken. The reception staff went out of their way to help and indeed managed to retrieve my phone. A big relief. This was our second time staying here and it was like coming back to family.

What a beautiful estate!
I’ve been to many amazing hotels all around the world, but there’s something very special about Villa Soro. From the very first moment you enter - you feel unexplainable peace. The hotel is beautifully designed, very clean, the staff is super nice and helpful, breakfast’s delicious, hotel rooms are spacious and extremely cosy…The only bad thing about our stay was the fact that we needed to leave :( But - see you soon Villa Soro, we will be back!:) We found our perfect getaway for all different seasons!
