Overall, stay was ok. Just a few inconvenient things. Vanity sink drained extremely slow, plunger didn't work. Shower dripped 24/7, had to put a towel underneath to catch/quiet drips. Breakfast limited in items compared to recent stays elsewhere.

It was within walking distance or driving, for many food and shopping options. Staff is wonderful and basketball hoop/ outdoor areas were a hit with our grandkids.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and adequately stocked. We LOVED that the pool and hot tub are available for adults only from 10p-12p. The location is conveniently located to several restaurants, shopping and centrally located to the areas we were traveling. We travel to Des Moines often and will definitely be back.

The hotel is in a great location but the room itself was very disappointing, especially for the price. Clogged toilet the first day, light over the bathroom mirror broken, something dirty on the curtains, and a chirping smoke detector.

Other than the elevator being down it was great!! The staff did warn us at check in & we just took the stairs. Rooms were great & clean & bfast was delicious!

At check-in on Saturday we were told the AC was not working (summer in Iowa) and that maintenance was not available until Monday. We were also told this was the only room left - this room should have been blocked off as they sold it knowing about the issue. Very poor service.
