Jestem zadowolony z tego hotelu.
Pros:

Bliskość do miasta oraz do portu (na tym nam zależało gdyż płynęliśmy w rejs). Śniadanie dobre, personel miły i pomocny.

Bardzo dobra baza na zwiedzanie, wypożyczenie samochodu i dotarcie na lotnisko.
Pros:

Hotel godny polecenia. W odległości paru kroków do zwiedzania centrum Palermo. Pokój dostaliśmy wcześniej niż wynikało z ustalonej godziny check-in. Śniadania kontynentalne, z dużym wyborem. Na tej samej ulicy znajduje się kilka wypożyczalni samochodów. W odległości 10 min spacerem przystanek na lotnisko.

Central and comfortable
Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Mercure Palermo for 7 nights. Altogether, especially during the first part of the stay was very pleasant for us. We were met by nice receptionists, who made sure to make us feel welcome.
The location of the hotel is very practical, nice and calm area with some good restaurants, easy access to the rest of the city. Nice linens on the bed, and a room which was well equipped. We also got help with some malfunctioning room keys.

Cons:

We started noticing that during the daily cleanings some of our things were moved into unreasonable places - for example a makeup bag into the bidet, which is quite unsanitary. The same cleaning lady cleaned our room during the whole stay.
When we arrived back to the room on the last evening, we noticed that an expensive perfume (ca. 160€) was gone from the room, not removed or misplaced by us. We immediately reported this to the reception, and they asked the cleaning lady who stated she did not know anything. Then a lady from the reception even came up to the room and checked around, also under the bed. The perfume was not to be found.
They told us that the next day they would take up the case again, with a higher up. When the next day came, during check out, they did not advance the case, it only got taken up again when we reported it again (they again asked the same cleaning personnel who denied knowing anything). Then we got told that we had to file a police report, and given that it was the last day we unfortunately did not have time to do so.
After arriving to the airport, we got a call, that the perfume bottle was found by the very same cleaning lady under the bed. (Where multiple people checked the day before...)
Then we got offered for it to be sent by taxi to the airport, which we would have had to pay for, we refused this due to the high cost. Then we got offered a parcel service, which we had to pay as well, 58€. The parcel service provider was trustworthy and quick.

Palermo è da non perdere!!!!!
Pros:

La colazione era molta buona, ricca e abbondante. Lo staff tutto è stato gentilissimo, disponibile e cordiale. La camera era confortevole e pulita. Il letto era molto comodo.
Posizione centralissima, a due passi dal Politeama e dagli altri monumenti.
Di sicuro sappiamo dove andare la prossima volta che capitiamo a Palermo.
