Best Value in Bay
Pros:

I always stay at Muir Woods Lodge when I am in the bay area. I love the fact it is so close to the Golden Gate Bridge and Muir Woods, is reasonably priced, and is clean. I can gas up the car in town and also get groceries at Safeway.

We enjoyed our stay in this area with lots to see and do.
Pros:

Very close to shops, restaurants, and bike trails. It was also close to the National Park and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Cons:

Air conditioning was noisy.

Our room was peaceful in spite of being near the highway. A rail trail and restaurants were nearby.
Pros:

The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Staff members were kind and helpful.

Cons:

The motel was very close to the highway, with inevitable traffic noise that did decrease at night.
