I had a fabulous stay. It was relaxing and beautiful
Quaint little property. Old time feel from the 30s~40s. Like an old speak easy. Friendly staff. We were greeted with a glass of wine. Bikes available to borrow.
Breakfast was continental.. was fine, so know that going in.
This quaint hotel is all u can ask for. So tranquil and relaxing. Was greeted by Julie who was the best! So warm &friendly made u feel at home, she goes out of her way your stay perfect. Coffee & Tea out all night. Perfect relaxing 40's music playing softly and breakfast even though says continental was more then that. Can't wait to revisit with my granddaughters soon so they can experience what I did.
proximity to family
Unwelcoming and not guest friendly staff, wood floors with no area rugs, broken bathroom door, drab dining area with no music and tables that wobble, no air conditioning in room, had a dated haunted house vibe
i love it all. It’s a family owned and operated hotel in the heart of Monmouth county. The location is ideal for beaches, farms and of course the renowned Delicious Orchards!

The nice atmosphere. Everyone was friendly
No hot breakfast items.
It’s a delightful place to stay. It’s always inviting in. The staff is always nice and courteous and helpful.
The price is right and that area is booming with things to do
Nothing
I like the quaint boutique atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and attentive.
The beds are uncomfortable. They need to be upgraded to queen size with a more comfortable mattress, possibly a temperpedic type mattress. Limited pillows in the room. Bed should have at least 4 sleeping pillows. Please check the thermostat control, our room was extremely hot and we could not lower the temp.
Nothing
Check in person not friendly and poorly dressed..
They also made a copy of my drivers license..why was that?
It’s a wonderful not cookie cutter hotel
It was so warm in my room that i had to leave. I’ve stayed there probably 20 times in the last few months. The suites are great. I truly enjoy this place. The desk told me that tomorrow they were going add individual AC units to each room at some point. There was no chance i would have gotten any sleep so i paid for another room at another resort. I MAY go back but tonight was terrible. If anyone is thinking I’m being too much . Im leaving out a large peice of the expeince because i truly like this hotel
Location and price
The air conditioning was blowing hot and the window didn’t open
Comfortable rooms. Spacious accommodations. Fresh roses in the room
The only thing I liked was the generous size of the mini fridge and the fact that it had a freezer (so I could use my ice pack in my cooler again the next day). This place had no other redeeming qualities. NONE.
Parking lot was a wreck- so first impression was foreboding. Room was stifling hot and smelled like weed in the bathroom. Could have lost a finger trying to open the window- had to prop it open with the TV remote control. The window locks were broken off but I guess they don’t care since it was the second floor? Thermostat was ancient and impossible to interpret, lighting was soooooo minimal. Bed felt like sleeping on a trampoline and my dog’s beds are better than the cheap pillows. Breakfast was all packaged carbs and I didn’t even dare try the coffee, so we drove to a local coffee shop for breakfast instead. We found hair on the bathroom counter and in the sheets. The faucet in the bathroom wasn’t caulked in place (it wiggled) and the water pressure made it really challenging to wash and condition my thick hair. Could barely see in the shower-no shower light and the shower curtain liner let in zero light. Stupid kitschy wooden signs everywhere. Just generally unwelcoming and skeevy.
