AP Oriental Beach - Adults Friendly

Elizandro greeted us with a big smile and a glass of wine! So friendly and helpful! He was able to get us a parking spot out front which was awesome and we appreciated all his help and recommendations. Our room was as great, lovely patio and view. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was a real nice experience. Great beach. Great location and the staff were excellent. Specifically Elizandro. He was so helpful with getting us settled in. Finding parking. Thanks for making our stay a pleasant one.

The Hotel was above our exceptions and the location was absolutely perfect with stunning view is the Ocean. Elizandro went above and beyond. He greeted us with a smile and made sure we were well looked after at check in with a nice glass of wine while we waited to be checked in. We were a group of 8. We had to call fromt desk a few times during our stay and he was up to the room and solved our issues instantly. He was a pleasure to see every day with his smile and was always asking if everything was OK.

We stayed here for 4 nights, mostly to get over jetlag in a location around Faro.

Our room (11) was a good size with a balcony that had a great view of the ocean/beach. Bathroom was good (in general). Breakfast presentation and selection was fine. There were 3 automated coffee machines that were in constant use. Complimentary sparkling wine was on offer.

The location was fine for walking to most bars, restaurants and beaches.

We had a warm welcome from the staff. We were shown to our room (room 11) by one of the staff. He showed us some of the features about the room. When we asked if there was a mini fridge, he said no and went off to get our bags. We found it and showed him when he returned.

Outside, music was blaring from a nearby outdoor café. This happened 2 days on our stay. Most of the time the room and balcony had very little outside noise.

Breakfast, the first day, was really crowded. After that it was easy to find a place to sit. My guess is that a tour group must have booked the hotel.

We needed to sew a button on and asked the front desk if they might have a small sewing kit. They said that they did and handed me a small complimentary box. When I got back to our room, it turned out to be a shaving kit. I repeated this and they gave me another box. Went back again. They said that didn’t have one. I asked the next day and a different staff member found one.

They also didn’t have a 120V to 220V adapter (I forgot mine). They didn’t know where I could buy one either.

It seemed to be a constant problem on this trip that showers would leak (or spray) water around the room. AP Hotel Oriental qualified in this standard.

Overall, our stay was okay.

Great location at the quieter end of the resort. Beautiful hotel. Lots of sunbeds. Lovely staff. Plenty of food of good quality and choice. Fantastic room.

Strand:
Lage direkt am breiten Strand - dort sind 20-30 Volleyballfelder am benachbarten Stadtstrand - reger Betrieb.
Zimmer:
Etwas in die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt - sauber, aber nicht wirklich top!
Essen:
gutes Essen mit viel Auswahl zum Frühstück und Abendessen - ab und an Livemusik zu den Essenszeiten

Muy limpio todo. Pedimos cama de matrimonio y nos la ofrecieron, muy cómoda por cierto. La ubicación muy buena!

The room was really nice and was cleaned every day which was lovely. The staff were very nice and helpful during our stay. We loved the location and how we could access the beach easily.

Hele fijne locatie. Aan het einde van de boulevard. Daar was het niet zo druk dus heel fijn . En toch overal dichtbij
