Pros:

This was my 2nd stay at the new, "galleon". It was disappointing. I booked for a double and, was given a twin. There were no net curtains at the window which faced a main road coming into hull. Cooked breakfasts were still not avaliable. There was no coffee in the room. The tv was not working so had to get an inside workman to tune it in for me. The staff were apologetic and allowed me a late checkout at no extra cost. Also I was given a free drink. I will stay again. Hurry with the refurb and get some nets for the windows

Really nice rooms, will be excellent when fully renovated
Pros:

The newly renovated room was very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The Hotel is undergoing a significant renovation, the standard of room is very good. Due to the Renovation there is limited facilities for Breakfast/Dining are. More attention to clear the areas around the stairs and walkways, even during the renovation this would improve the overall look.
I was greeted by a really friendly receptionist, who was more than happy to help when needed.

A really comfortable stay, certainly will be staying at Galleon during my next visits to Hull.
Pros:

The newly refurbished room was great and the member of staff who I spoke with upon arrival was lovely. The location was perfect for my trip to Hull as well.

Cons:

I wasn't able to connect the TV to the internet to use it's smart TV capabilities due to be it being locked in hospitality mode and the internet not being already being signed in but aside from that all was perfect, this was only a minor issue. Though it wasn't an issue during my stay, I did notice that there wasn't any controllable heating which might be a problem during winter.

Very clean and comfortable

Cons:

I didn't have a hot water on my first day, the second day I woke up to have a shower in the morning, there was not water at all.
