It was genuinely relaxing.
The venue and the clientele were well matched.
The mobile phones I occasionally saw were being looked at and not being shouted into.
I look for faults and found none.
Stunning hotel the photos and videos do not do it justice. Had an amazing stay to celebrate my birthday, when we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of cava and had a bottle waiting for us in the room. We got room service which arrived fast and they accommodated our vegetarian diet and made swaps where necessary. Breakfast buffet was amazing so much choice for us and the coffee is gorgeous. The private pool onto the river is stunning, the water is warm and the outside areas are perfect sun traps with the option of curtains and shade if you need it. The room itself was huge and so beautifully decorated. Staff were all so lovely and made our stay so welcoming we felt like we could ask for anything and the little perks, free tote bag and wash bags to take home as a reminder of such a wonderful stay made my day. Thank you royal river we will be back!

The reception, the main pool and the service general were below average for such a high standard hotel (price-wise)
Прекрасный отель, отличные виллы.
Вода в бассейне и в реке с подогревом, 28 градусов, хотя хотелось бы на пару градусов повыше, но вполне хорошо. В остальном все прекрасно. Очень удобный валет паркинг включён в стоимость. До лучших пляжей 10 минут на машине.
С удовольствием вернёмся еще.

We stayed in a river villa, comfortable and private, great check in process and no hassles during the stay. Staff were very welcoming and really did well to look after guests.
I’d say the only niggle we had was that the portion sizes at dinner were huge, not the worst criticism to have I guess.
Lo que mas me gustó el desayuno y la decoración sobretodo la parte natural
Cuesta como el 4season y está muy lejos de tener la misma calidad!! Los servicios: la spa muy pobre por el precio de la estructura, pagué 200€ manicure y pedicure permanentes y me la tuvieron que volver a hacer el día siguiente porque se me empezaba salir el esmalte, tanto el producto como la técnica no estaban a la altura, el personal era muy amable pero poco profesional, si comparo el precio al 4season es lo mismo pero la preparación del personal es muy inferior, los modales sobre todo llamando a los clientes amor mi vida y he asistido a una pelea entre ellos bastante larga durante el desayuno cuado quería solo relajarme, faltan tumbonas en las piscina de arriba y abajo la mayoría tiene sombras, la piscina privada de mi billa tenía sombra todo el día, los restaurantes para el precio de la estructura muy pobre la selección y muchos abren solo unos días, la pizza que comimos un día parecía de las congeladas de cartón, el baño muy bonito pero se divide por una cortina de la habitación no me parece practico y no deja privacy o intimidad, los cojines del jardín de finta piel al sol quemaban.

Beautiful Spa
Lack of restaurant choice out of season. Advertised as 4 restaurants but only 1 available on a nightly basis, so you’d soon run out of non meat options if you stay for a week, and it’s pricey if you’re not on a meal plan. But we were there for just 4 nights. Staff were lovely and helpful.

My girlfriend had intoxication from the food . We flew from barcelona we arrived to tenerife we had no food at all until we had lunch in the hotel . My girlfriend had salmon poke bowl and i had pasta . And dinner we had it also in the hotel but my girlfriend started to have pain in her stomach that night and following morning she started to vomit and very bad pain in her stomach we had to speak to the supervisor and she managed to get the doctore to come to the villa to check my girlfriend and she had to give her injection for the pain and vomit . She vomited more than 7 times and she lost all her energy ….etc today when we checked out one of the worker first time i saw her she said she is the manager her name is Lidia she asked me how was the stay i mentioned bad because we wasted 2 days because of the bad food and my girlfriend got intoxication from the food of the first day of our arrival . Alll she said with very bad attitude how do you know its our food , so i said because it was first and only meals we had in your hotel she kept saying no its a virus that maybe your girlfriend brought with her i answered that not true and we know its the food so please lets stop here because i dont want to keep arguing . She actually wanted to keep arguing from her attitude and before leaving from far away she said have nice flight “BACK “. So this women she is not professional and she doesn’t have the capability to speak to customer as she is giving bad image to the place. She did not even ask about my girlfriend if she is feeling okay . Total ignorance . Anyway we had bad experience in this place . They havent been flexible to offer us an extra 2 days that we wasted because of their food experience.
So luxurious. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Beautifully clean and spacious villas. Such lovely staff.
