Discovery still my fave!
It’s a decent place to stay but quite old already. It’s proximity to Ortigas malls makes it appealing, though.

Room was clean and spacious. Wi-fi was fast. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is very convenient. When we usually visit Metro Manila, we always stay in Ortigas area but haven't considered this hotel before. From now on, this hotel will be in my list. It's across Podium and a short distance to Megamall. They also offer free baggage storage if you have back to back bookings with them which I didn't know was available as I booked other hotels with this trip.

Property needs some update. Staffs were very polite and friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good.

When you enter the property the smell is really amazing!
The management is not very flexible so don’t book unless you’re certain. Safe location though.
The first room we were given have a damp moldy smell to it, and the bedsheets have some dark stain. We communicated this to the staff and they were quick in moving us to a different room. The 2nd room was better though you can still smell like an old musty smell we think is from the aircon or the carpet. The corridors also has this smell. The staff service was good when we made a complaint, and even provided our room with an air purifier. However we think the hotel itself isobviously old and outdated, and we dont think is worth the money we paid for.
The location is very convenient for shopping and dining and the surrounding area feels safe for foreign travelers. Their options for one to three bedroom suites is also a plus making it convenient for families on vacation.

Had a great stay with my fam
Queen size bed is great and bathroom was fantastic. Check in/check out was a breeze. The only negative of our room is the carpet. It looks like the carpet never tasted steam cleaning. Management, please check room 1808 and see yourself the condition of the carpet and I’m sure you will be appalled to see the condition of it.
