Pros:

The bed was comfortable, it is 20 mins from the channel tunnel.

Cons:

Apart from the beds, everything about this hotel was awful. The room was disgusting, in disrepair and dirty. I wouldn't walk on the carpet in bare feet. As a lone woman travelling with a child I didn't feel safe on the ground floor. When I asked to move to the first floor the receptionists English was suddenly very bad and she didn't understand. In addition to this our door lock was missing its cover, when I expressed my concern the receptionist insisted it was safe. Given how unsafe I felt, I position chairs and heavy bags against the doors, including the adjoining room door which I couldn't see a way to lock from our side, and the window which was also a door., In addition you could hear the rooms around you, their conversations and their toilets flushing.

I slept terribly and would never return.

Good location for the ferry port, and a very useful Carefour just over the road was handy as the restaurant had a very limited menu.

Cons:

The room was in need of some attention to make it look less scruffy. The menu was very limited.

Für eine Nacht ok
Pros:

Da die Klimaanlage nicht lief, baten wir um ein Zimmer im 1. Obergeschoss, um wenigstens bei offenem Fenster schlafen zu können. Das wurde uns gegeben. Ansonsten war die Nähe zum Hafen günstig.

Cons:

Keine Klimaanlage. Sehr abgenutzter Teppich, seltsamer Geruch im Flur, insgesamt ein eher heruntergewirtschaftetes Haus. Kein Lift.

Gute Lage direkt am Fährhafen, gutes Frühstück, bequeme Betten

Cons:

Man kann die Balkontür nur ganz öffnen und nicht kippen. Im Erdgeschoss aus Sicherheitsgründen blieb die Tür dann nachts zu und es war sehr warm im Zimmer nr 11

Pros:

Le personnel très aimable, accueil excellent, repas excellent . Proximité du ferry c’est pour cette raison que j’ai réservé.

Cons:

Moquette de la chambre sale, abîmé, mauvaise odeur . Plainte cassée, mur sale peinture à refaire. Gel douche ressemblant à du produit vaisselle.

De vrouw aan de incheckbalie was erg vriendelijk en correct

Cons:

We hadden in een ander hotel een kamer voor een nacht gehuurd voor de overtocht naar Dover. Dit hotel had geen airco. Omdat het die dagen aanhoudend erg warm was: 30-31 graden hebben we de dag voor de overtocht een kamer in dit hotel geboekt omdat hier wel airco zou zijn. (Het geld van het andere hotel was niet terug te krijgen.) Bij aankomst in dit hotel bleek de airco in het hele hotel kapot. Bij doorvragen bleek de airco al langere tijd kapot! Onze kamer zat aan de zonkant en was bloedheet! Er was niemand die actie kon ondernemen en de kamer was ook niet om te boeken. Als hulpmiddel kregen we een mini apparaatje met een ingebouwde ventilator. Het bleek een 1500 watt kacheltje waarvan de ventilator niet los van de kachel te gebruiken was. Hij blies alleen maar warme lucht. De kamer had geen raam. Alleen een raam in de deur naar buiten. Omdat de kamer op de begane grond was durfden we deze voor de veiligheid 's nachts niet open te zetten. Dus geslapen in een bloedhete kamer. Verder ervaarden we de kamer als niet hygienisch. Er waren grote stofnesten aan de onderkant en in de hoeken van het tafeltje en zwarte schimmelranden in de kamer en in de badkamer (foto's gemaakt).
