Vriendelijk ontvangst. Ontbijt was ok
De kamer was duidelijk verouderd en aan vernieuwing toe. De airco verspreidde bovendien een onaangename geur.
Bij aankomst zaten er ook heel wat kleine vliegjes en andere insecten in de kamer. We hebben eerst bijna een uur bezig geweest om ze te verwijderen voordat we ons konden installeren.
Jammer, want dit is voor mij het minst goede Campanile-hotel waar ik tot nu toe heb overnacht.

De airco kon aan maar het werd niet koel in de kamer.

Basic but comfortable. A good over night stay if you are on your way to the ferry or tunnel. Well situated for restaurants, I recommend chez Vincent (always go when visiting Reims!) Decent breakfast offered and rooms have functioning air conditioning, we visited during a serious heatwave so the a/c was a real blessing! Great TV and comfortable big bed.
Poor flush on the toilet and coffee in the room can turn your face inside out 🤣
Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were taking motorbike security seriously. A bike was stolen from the carpark when I had stated there two weeks previously. When we arrived this time a member of staff came out to the carpark to suggest we parked outside their office. Two riders, still concerned about security decided not to stay and were immediately offered free cancellation.
The hotel advertises a restaurant. On my first visit I was told it was not opening that evening with no explanation. I had to walk to a nearby restaurant, nit far but it was pouring with rain! This time when I asked about the restaurant they explained that they only open if they have sufficient bookings! They had a coach party that evening so I could use the restaurant but there was no choice of meal. Just the set meal ordered by the coach party!

Arrivée dans la nuit. Obligée d’appeler le numéro d’urgence car bien que la chambre avait déjà été réglé, la borne me demandait de payer à nouveau.
Je ne pouvais donc pas accéder à la chambre sans intervention du personnel de garde.
Trop bruyant, chambre très peu insonorisée.
Literie moyenne et ménage à revoir (cheveux dans la salle de bain). Petit déjeuner pauvre.

Air conditioning in room not working but was fixed but was not very effective.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and blissfully cool in the scorching heat! Nice comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Location is very convenient for a stop over, the city centre is just a 15 mins bus ride away - overall great value for money
