Maybe it’s because im English but I think the breakfast could be better

Hotel de Sers is one of those properties that will have you returning over and over. From the affordability to the hospitality, they provided a wonderful experience for me and my husband. The room was beautiful and the staff, superb. Room service is everything for the traveler and wow, did they deliver - literally. A wonderful experience in the perfect location steps from the Champs Elysees. Anything we needed was within walking distance, and when we needed a taxi, the front desk called one. A definite five-star experience.

This is one of the most difficult reviews I’ve ever written, because so much about Hotel de Sers deserves a glowing five-star rating. The hotel itself is undeniably charming, with tasteful design and a boutique feel. Our room had recently been renovated and was absolutely stunning—like stepping into a chic Parisian apartment. We were welcomed with complimentary chocolates and fresh water, and the location is ideal for exploring Paris. The staff was warm, attentive, and gracious throughout our stay.

But unfortunately, one major issue overshadowed all of this: the noise.

Our room faced the street, and while the view of the ornate Parisian facades across the way initially delighted me, we quickly discovered that a nightclub is located directly across from the hotel. While the area is quiet during the day and early evening, things change drastically around 1:00 a.m. when the club opens its doors. The noise level becomes extremely loud and continues unabated until approximately 6:00 a.m.—every single night. We endured this for five nights straight.

Even with high-quality earplugs designed to seal the ear canal, I could hear the bass thumping through the walls, along with laughter, shouting, and crowds gathering outside. We slept very little during what was meant to be a celebratory trip—our first time in Paris and a special 60th birthday for my husband.

We requested a room change early in our stay, but the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t accommodate us until our final night. By then, the damage to our experience had already been done.

To their credit, the staff listened sympathetically, and we voiced our concerns multiple times. Upon checkout, the front desk acknowledged that other guests have raised the same issue and encouraged us to leave a review.

So here is my advice: if you plan to stay at Hotel de Sers and value a full night’s sleep, insist on a courtyard-facing room. The noise from the nightclub is not a minor inconvenience—it is a serious disruption. Had we known this, we would have changed hotels immediately. There's a Four Seasons next door, and we absolutely would have relocated had we realized how relentless the noise would be.

It’s such a shame, because this hotel has so much going for it. But until the nightclub situation is resolved—or guests are clearly warned when booking—I cannot recommend staying in a street-facing room under any circumstances.

Really nice rooms, good location, nice staff, but club opposite with loud music literally all through the night.

All for people having fun, but I planned on sleeping… big mistake!

Really disappointing and would avoid at all cost.

I like music, but I’d just go to the club all night if I didn’t want to sleep and listen to music.

EL HOTEL ESTÁ EN REMODELACIÓN, HAY UN RUIDO TERRIBLE DESDE ANTES DE LAS 8 AM.

El hotel está bello, los cuartos amplios, bien iluminados y limpios. La cama y ropa de cama están deliciosos. Está super bien ubicado.

Sin embargo está. En reparación y empiezan a trabajar desde antes de las 8 am. No los avisaron esto con anticipación. Si estás pensando en dormir rico y hasta tarde, no es una buena opción.

We loved our stay. The staff was so nice and very helpful. The room was spotless and really well appointed. The bed and linens were super comfortable and the location was in a fantastic location.

Location was good. Right by the Champs-Elysees. People and staff are friendly and nice.

Excellent service, getting us dinner reservations at outstanding restaurants and providing excellent tourist tips. Vikash treated us like VIPs and made sure we were as comfortable as possible.

The room super clean and amazing location, i like how the room smells and how high end details love the courtyard view that what we had and they made a setup for my honeymoon was really cool my wife’s liked it i would come back again and enjoy the best paris visit again

Shower is bad and difficult to handle

I cannot say enough about the people who work here! The rooms were comfortable and beautiful but it was the people who made our trip so memorable. We were a group of six girls for a long weekend. We were welcomed so warmly and given a glass of champagne. Cedric arranged for our rooms to be ready early which was so appreciated after flying all night. My friend's room and door had been decorated for her birthday and Rafael had cake for use that evening as well. Bob, Matheiu and Stephanie at the front desk were ready to assist with whatever was needed; cabs, water, luggage or friendly conversation and laughs. Etienne was our server at breakfast and was so attentive. The continental breakfast was delicious; so fresh with fruit and yogurt. A basket of bread filled with croissants, baguettes, apple bread and pan de chocolate. as well as fluffy scrambled eggs. I am sure I am missing someone's name so I will just say everyone was amazing! I cannot say enough good things! And believe me, they put up with quite a bit of shenanigans from us, but they truly seemed to share in our joy, I would 100% return here and cannot recommend it any more strongly.
