This is a hidden gem close to the two big hotels - I only comment I have is that there’s no name in front of the property- being in an unfamiliar place @night, GPS cell too slow or non existent- we passed the property twice - small sign might have helped
we enjoyed our stay. place is beautiful very elegant style, comfortable, big rooms. price is just right. only downside theres no restaurant inside. staff very friendly and courteous. place is worth coming back to...
It was a fun group of friends weekend.
The room was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, The carpeting in the room was very stained and dirty. The beds were very uncomfortable and the comforters on the bed appeared to never be changed. While there was a coffeemaker there was no coffee. There was no front desk staff at 7:30 am when they were needed. The bathroom was supplied with one bar of soap apparently for bathing and hand washing. I have stayed in far better economy hotels than this place. I would not recommend to my worst enemy.
One of the best in Baguio
I came here with my family and I was really happy that the place was homey. I loved how we felt it was just like home because there were not so many people. The amenities were available and you can use it for free. We got the executive room and it was really big enough to accomodate 8 pax. The room was not like a posh hotel room, but it was clean and it smelled good. It was also located in our fave Camp John Hay and we loved how quiet the place is. We loved our stay and I will definitely come back here and recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
General feel of the place was good. Place was really nice, Staff were friendly. Had a few very bad experience:
- we weren’t told that they are not registered under DOT, so we had to wait for almost 2 hours in the triage waiting for their confitmation that we are guests
- upon check out, we had to wait for about 30mins becuase the reception was unattended
- glass door in the shower wasnt functioning very well. It broke while i was in the shower leaving me bleeding with minor scratches and wounds. Fortunately, they immediately transferred us to the next available room and provided very basic first aid only.
pool needs to be cleaned, its not fit for swimming. the bathroom needs more cleaning.
the staff were super helpful.
We had a wonderful staycation😀
it was a last minute booking, and i think was the only room left. clean room and nice staff especially the front desk Ralph 😊
will definitely book again in White house of the Lord of scents 😊
It was not like a hotel.
1. Hotel.com online says that the room accommodates 5 adults and two kids so we booked for the room. Arriving at the place, they charged as additional payment for one more adult . According to them, four and not 5, are allowed and that hotel.com is wrong. I dont know which is which!
2. Not one staff is in uniform. There is no way you can tell a staff from a stranger or guest.
3. The staffs did not even know how to fix the additional bed in a hotel standard. I even have to tell them how to fix it properly
4. The towels are old and are of different colors
5. No slippers
6. The in house telephones are not working.
7. The carpet smells like a bad sock
8. No restaurant. If a guest got hungry, then it will be a problem
9. Only one soap is provided
10. No soap holder on the bathroom
