Mooie locatie

Cons:

25 euro p.p. voor een ontbijt is te duur, geen airco wat bekend was. De ventilator die gaf geen luchtstroom(???).

Geweldig hotel, zo mooi!

Cons:

De kamers hadden geen airco en het was echt heel warm, je verwacht van dit kaliber hotel dat ze deze faciliteit wel hebben. Zonde dat je voor die prijs het ontbijt er apart bij moet boeken.

Beautiful castle and location.
Pros:

Beautiful castle and property. Rooms were large and comfortable, parking was easy, and the grounds were gorgeous. We enjoyed the walking trails behind the castle as well.

Cons:

Not many food options in the area other than pre fixe menu. Local town is limited on food choices as well.

Excellent food and a warm welcome in an extremely picturesque castle setting
Pros:

The castle building itself is really stunning and both the public rooms and our bedroom were beautifully furnished in a traditional style. The staff were extremely friendly and helped sort out a mistake we'd made with our restaurant booking. We ate in the more formal restaurant and the food was delicious and inventive - its score of 14/20 in the Gault & Millau guide is well deserved. Breakfast was excellent too - it included a list of dishes, such as eggs and pancakes, to order a la carte (no extra cost) as well as a varied breakfast buffet.

Unusually, breakfast is served in two separate sessions - we were asked the night before to choose whether we wanted to take it between 7-9 or after 10.

Overall this is a magical place and I would go back.
Restaurant is very good.

Cons:

I booked 3 rooms but 2 did not have air conditioning and our suite only had it in the lounge area. Most of the time this may not be an issue but despite the castle walls it was very hot.
