Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center

We stayed here two nights for my husband’s high school reunion and wow what a great hotel and event service. We stayed on the second floor and the room was recently updated with a nice sitting area with comfortable beds.

As for the reunion, the entire staff was wonderful from the bartenders to the waiters and waitresses. The hors d’oeuvres were freshly made with attentive service to all! The buffet included beef short ribs served in a great sauce and the other choices looked wonderful! We were on the 3rd floor event room and wonderful evening had by all!!!

We stayed for the first time at the Atlantic Sands over Sea Witch weekend. The hotel does a great job with upkeep. Front desk, staff are friendly. We had room service without asking, something you don’t see very much of anymore.
The rooms are small, but the oceanfront room that we were in was updated and clean. The signage in the hallways and the drop ceilings throughout the building aren’t attractive and could use some updating. The lobby is simple but nice.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, and we appreciate that the hotel does a good job of trying to keep the property updated. We would return.

When we arrived, there were fire trucks, a gas leak but everything was taken care of. At check in the girl was very personable. Our 2 queen room with partial ocean was was clean and nice! Hotel right on the boardwalk. Only other thing was no hot water sat and Sunday ( we checked in friday) the person working the desk did not notify us of the hot water issue. Upon check the girl I spoke with that was very personable, handled our situation in an excellent manner with a very fair resolution. Due to this we would return.

This place is in dire need of repair. We knew where our room was by the large stain on the carpet. The room had ants all over the table. No bottled water provided. The fire alarm went off at 5:45am, no acknowledgement by the staff. It went off after about 5 minutes. Tried to call the front desk... the phone is not connected. There was a pipe leak onto our balcony. We paid top dollar for an ocean view, and the view was great, but not worth the price.

Buyer Beware. I should have read the reviews more carefully. This hotel is dirty and needs refurbishing badly. we woke up the second morning of our stay to find black spots on the sheets of the bed. Looked like bed bug feces, which management of course denied claiming it was ash from the air conditioners. We left immediately

Yes, very nice view. Off season probably enhanced the experience, as the hotel was not crowded.

Bed is a double and ours made you roll to the middle! The toilet seat needed to be screwed back together! You sat down and it felt like you were falling!

Hotel nice but when we checked in, the front desk staff gave us an attitude about booking via Expedia.
It was off putting somewhat.

Hallway carpet seemed very dirty but room carpet was semi new.

I loved that this was on the beach and so close to the shopping everything was in walking distance

This the least friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at. No one to help with our luggage or even offering. They didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our stay.

No free coffee restaurant was closed no late check out phone was broke TV died at 11:00 pm The staff could have been more friendly

No beach view, no opportunity to upgrade. Only proximity to the boardwalk. Overpriced. Broken tv. Tiny tv in bedroom. Mattresses were uncomfortable and small. Repair person did replace the tv the next morning but we went a $240 night without one. Cleaning staff did service in between nights which can be uncommon these days. That was appreciated. The room was dark and dimly lit with a tiny window and low ceilings.

Beautiful weekend with ocean view and great food. Went for nice bikeride and walk on the boardwalk. Great restaurants within walking distance.

Everything was better than expected for a shore hotel. Room was clean, spacious and close to the boardwalk.

Please don't make me leave a review. Sigh - the Hotel was okay - we found something on the bath floor when we checked in so downgraded cleanliness. Overall, room was a pleasant surprise with the separate sitting area from BR with a pocked door between the two rooms.

We had a spectacular view of the ocean and the pool was fantastic. Unfortunately the room was filthy, I had the largest roach I’ve ever seen in my bathroom, the two queen beds are actual full size and the pillows are more like couch cushion inserts. You’re paying for the view alone. Front desk staff don’t seem to care about anything. One younger guy was sleeping when I checked in. This place is in major need of a management and cosmetic overhaul. It’s a shame.

The room was just ok...bathroom just ok. The restaurant had good food but the service was very slow. The ocean vuew was great and walkable
