Talked to the new owner (six weeks) and he was very friendly at check-in.
Only complaint was that we had three people stay in a room with 2 double beds. There was only one bath towel and one hand towel.
Price point was perfect and it was a quick drive to get right back on the interstate
There’s no microwave in the rooms, the rooms felt bare. The towels were thin and they only give you maybe a couple pillows and one towel to work with. The parking lot was sketchy
The property needs a lot of work
Even though the price was low, the hotel was in such bad shape, unclean and unsafe it wasn't worth it. The shower, toilet and sink worked and there was a working fridge. There was a microwave but we didn't use it so not sure if it work worked.
The entire hotel looks abandoned. It was filthy from top to bottom. The TV set up looked unprofessional and maybe illegal but didn't matter because it didn't work. The bed was covered in black hair- I think from a dog but not certain. The hotel and room smelled like stale cigarettes. There were sketchy people hanging out on the side of the building and no security on any doors. This was more of a flop house than a hotel. The pictures on booking.com were not from this hotel.

Dirty, and remote for TV was not in room and then gave us one and couldn’t control volume and was on loud.

Building looked like it was abandoned & dirty on the outside & dirty through the inside.
There was no breakfast, my reservation thru BOOKING.COM was canceled and refunded but NOBODY KNEW WHERE MY MONEY WENT SO SOMEONE KEPT MY MONEY and "oh NOBODY KNEW WHERE IT WENT"
My reservation was canceled and "refunded" however it was never received by BOOKING.COM. Most of the agents were very rude and very unhelpful. There was no supervisor available and when they "called me back, my phone number was disconnected" WHICH WAS A LIE!!!!!! The hotel was also in the process of removing and replacing carpet squares and it smelled really bad.

The front desk lady was very rude. The room was dirty - I had to clean the toilet and bathtub again. Not sure if it was due to renovations going on but the water was dark and the toilet and the tub had a black residue after using. Cockroaches in bathroom. Pillows were flat and pillow cases were dirty had to go get clean ones. Property has construction so didn't look like it was open. The carpet on the stairs was cut up to the top 3 stairs and the carpet was lifted since it was cut so it caused me to trip in it due to catching my shoe. The cleaning lady put all the dirty laundry on the stairs like she threw them from the second floor down so it was impossible to use the stairs. Asked for the first floor but told that since we were staying more than one night we could not. The smell of marijuana was all down the second floor and was horrible I have pictures asked to pay at property when booking but they ran the payment immediately anyway. Now makes sense because had we gotten there and saw the condition we would not have stayed.

Everything. They CLAIMED they were renovating. No choice of rooms. No turntable in the microwave and it didn't turn anyway. No clock. No coffeemaker. Phone didn't work. Remote barely worked. You had to literally stand right in front of the tv. Two TINY pillows for a king size bed. Only sheets for blankets. 1 towel. Need I say more?
