liked the privacy but accomodations were not worth the high price.
Pros:

Great location for walking downtown. South beach is walkable if not carrying lots of beach gear. the private deck is nice, but it is right next to the drawbridge so there is lots of noise.

Cons:

Paying luxury price for decidedly not luxury experience. we rented the one room cottage by the river/docs, i.e., not in the hotel itself. The outside is poor condition and the inside is cramped. Only one sink for both the kitchenette and bathroom.

For the money paid, we expected more comfortable bed, better WiFi, and amenities. Location was great. The mattress, bedding and pillows did not lend to a good night sleep.

Pros:

The harbor area is a great location with good restaurants and shops. There was a great sitting area off the lobby with a wonderful view.

Cons:

Our rooms were right on the street and street level so it was a bit noisy at times, but a great location.
