Difficult to find my way around -- got lost twice walking to the pool and back. Directions not marked well. Also, the telephone in our room did not work--we were unable to call the front desk. We asked for a different phone and were told they didn't have one, although not all rooms were occupied and could have been taken from an empty room.

I would stay here again. Great service and only 15 min from downtown.
Pros:

Staff was super helpful with early check-in. They answered any questions I had. Breakfast was good - real scrambled eggs and many options.

Cons:

Elevator smelled musty and seemed as if staff was stretched thin. All the folks I talked to were super friendly and helpful. Some carpeting was frayed - hate to see this not kept up because there are so many pluses! Pool area not super clean, and at 8p not enough towels. I loved the indoor outdoor pool, but I mainly chose this for the hot tub. Kids in pool with no parents around acting crazy, and toddler and 8 yr old playing in hot tub. Parents were there despite the sign "no kids allowed in hot tub under age 14". I could have gone to front desk but opted not to.

Great stay in a fine old hotel.
Pros:

We love this hotel, we've stayed there before but this suite was amazing. The check in is great and fast and the breakfast is awesome. The place is a little older so you have to expect things like older carpet and such, but aside from a spider in our room there was nothing broken or dirty.

Cons:

The walls could be a bit thicker, or they could do something to mitigate noise. The people above us were like having the worst loud apartment neighbors ever and because it attracts families you end up with loud kids running outside.
