Wonderful for a nights visit
Pros:

Stunning old building with wonderful grounds.

Cons:

As there was an event on, the service in the restaurant in the evening was quite poor. We were told that we couldn’t eat in the bar, due to lack of staff because of the event.

Luxury, relaxing night with exceptional staff.
Pros:

Location in the country with most. Great facilities- pool, gym, sauna, steam room, pitch & putt golf. Exceptional staff. Enjoyed our drinks and dinner on the patio during hot weather. Bedroom in main house was luxurious with comfortable bed, bathrobe, slippers and Noble Isle bath products.

Cons:

Breakfast was a little disorganised, with a large queue at 9:30 for the buffet. Two sittings on this occasion, probably as hotel was full. I overheard another table saying Table service was usually provided and that some waiting staff were verbally providing the food options you could order. We did not receive a written or verbal menu. As we had glanced at the menu near the restaurant reception desk, I recalled pancakes, which I ordered.
The selection of juices, fruit, pastries, conserves and yoghurt were lovely. The pancakes were fine and arrived quickly.

Excellent customer service and beautiful location in an old Manor House. Executive suite very good with a fridge which was really handy in the heatwave.

Tolles altes Schloss mit einer weitläufigen Parkanlage

Es war toll, in einem Schloss mit Burggraben und Parkanlage zu übernachten. Toll auch die Originalinneneinrichtung, mit schönen Schränken und einem tollen Himmelbett. Der dazugehörige Park ist sehr gross und schön, mit Eichhörnchen und Vögeln, einfach toll. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Da das Hotel etwas abseits liegt, braucht man eigentlich ein Auto, aber die Parkplätze sind sehr gut.

Cons:

Der Restaurantbetrieb war nicht perfekt, sowohl beim Abendessen als auch beim Frühstück mussten manche Leute etwas warten. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob die Küche eine gute Abluftanlage hat. Der Wellness- und Spabereich ist sehr schön, aber für so ein großes Hotel fast etwas klein dimensioniert.
