Picturesque location clean and comfortable room.
Got back from the family funeral we attended and was told that the kitchens were shut and no food was available. It was sorted in the end.
spacious room for our family of 4. Lovely terrace for drinks or food with beautiful gardens. Dogs made welcome
Absolutely incredible service. Attended there to get my wife a voucher for her birthday. Very well greeted by Karen on reception who guided me in the right direction to the spa where I was warmly welcomed by immie who couldn't of done enough. Helped me with absolutely everything both Karen and immie and took time to really detail my wife's future visit. Incredible!!
Location was superb.
While restaurants staff were very obliging the timeliness at dinner and breakfast was missing with delays in completing orders eg potato arrived at the end of the meal and at breakfast toast did not arrive till we were leaving the table!
Also staff were very slow in clearing the table between courses. Hope this helps improve your restaurant experience
The grounds and spa facilities were excellant . Staff were great and work very hard and very.polite and friendly .
Would of liked a bit more choice on the menus , and for somewhere like this was a bit disappointed that when we ordered food some of the selections were unavailable as they didnt have the ingredients . Also were given a disabled room when we didnt need it .

The building and its setting it absolutely stunning, so peaceful and scenic. The grounds looks incredible but we only stayed one night so didn’t get a chance to explore- but we will be back! Room was extremely comfortable (even in the heatwave), clean and had everything in you could want. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Spa and swimming pool were beautiful, clean and well laid out.
Breakfast service was extremely slow. We ended up going to ask where our hot drinks were after waiting 15/20 minutes and watching tables that came in after us get theirs. I assume they were having an “off day” as other reviews have said it was great.
On three previous occasions when we've popped into New Hall Hotel for a coffee we've been extremely disappointed with the drinks given to us but also the Lack of customer service skills from the young lad serving us,
This occasion we've asked for a cappuccino and coffee, we sat outside however the table was very dirty, droppings of food waste ,we waited a long time for the lad to bring our drinks out to us , we requested sugar but to be told its there, white sugar cubes very grubby as though dirty fingers had been in the jar ,no sugar tongs, we asked the young lad if he could wipe the table four us, he Sprayed table with our drinks on, we tasted our drinks well wasn't a cappuccino how we know a cappuccino to taste it was like drinking a cup of warm milk, no different from other visits.
We've stayed at new hall hotel many times and on this 4th occasion regarding the cleanliness and drinks served to us this hotel has gone down in our ratings unfortunately we wont be visiting New Hall Hotel again.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous grounds. The room was clean & spacious but no air conditioning but a fan was provided. The bed was really comfortable & the shower was powerful.
The staff were excellent, very helpful & attentive.
We enjoyed a tasty dinner but breakfast was excellent, served on the garden terrace at our request.
All in all a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely stay again.
The bedroom was very warm in the current heat wave. In the absence of air conditioning, a tabletop cooling fan was provided which wasn't up to the job. Thankfully we brought our own fan, enabling us to get a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed
I was double charged twice and it has been over two weeks and I still haven’t received my refunds as promised and am still disputing with the bank.
