Perfect overnight treat
Pros:

Beautiful property in gorgeous setting..so much history. Everything was clean and welcoming…the grounds were lovely. We only used the swimming pool but even that met expectations..not huge but good

Beautiful get away
Pros:

Beautiful stay at new hall hotel & spa, for my partners birthday. Staff went above & beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Outstanding grounds to explore, with a lovely spa to relax down in. Our food was delicious, including the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Again the staff within the restaurant were amazing. The price of stay was very reasonable & would love to return in the future. Thank you!

Cons:

We didn't stay long enough, bad decision making on our side. Next time, we plan to stay for longer! Thank you for a lovely stay

Grounds and staff very good, but overall dissapointed

The grounds were so nice. Pool and spa clean

Cons:

After booking the apparently only room left which had two singles instead of ideally a double bed I found a few double beds online available for same price. Contacted the hotel to ask if I could upgrade and was told no rooms available. This was a special night for us as a couple and although the surroundings were as nice as I hoped this really let our experience down. At breakfast, I chose the American pancakes with fruit, was dissapointed after being served stale pancakes and blob of some jam. This put my partner off ordering anything for herself.

Fabulous give it a go !
Pros:

All the staff were friendly and helpful but a big shout out for the young man in the spa and Scarlette in the restaurant who made our stay even better - obviously people who love their jobs

Stunning location and excellent staff
Pros:

The hotel itself is stunning and the rooms, restaurant and surrounding are were equally as impressive.

The staff were very helpful and returned my husband's wallet that had been found in the restaurant area.

We were able to do a Tesco Whoosh delivery for essentials that we had forgotten to save us driving back into the town.

Cons:

Nothing that we didn't like but the location is a bit out of the way which is what we liked but others may not.

Beautiful historic hotel
Pros:

We had a 1 night stay at the beautiful hotel. First impressions were very impressive. Long driveway to the property which is stone and parts date back to 1700’s. We were in Room 51 which was in a newer part of the hotel but the decor very traditional and in keeping with the period priory.
Comfy king size bed. tv , wardrobe, robes and slippers, mini fridge, kettle, a trouser press. Updated bathroom. Everything was very clean.
Only downside was no aircon and the room was very warm. But on ringing down to reception we were given a fan which was much appreciated.

We enjoyed a drink outside on the terrace. The grounds are extensive and stunning. The main building is surrounded by a moat and there are various other ponds and lakes. On the Sunday morning we walked to a nearby mill which was interesting.

Breakfast was served from 8 am was a continental buffet with the main breakfast cooked to order. We both had full English and it was delicious.

The staff here really are a credit to the hotel. Everyone we came across was pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.

We used the gym which was great but didn’t have time for a swim but the pool looked good.

I would definitely stay here again highly recommended.
