This ocean-front Sonora resort is located on the Golf of California on the west coast of Mexico. The resort offers equipment rental for snorkeling and scuba diving. Suites include kitchenettes.

Poolside Dining and Recreational Activities
Guests at the Sea of Cortez dine at the poolside La Palapa Bar. After a snack guests can explore the surrounding area on horseback or rent deep sea fishing equipment.

Disappointed, the hotel is overpriced for what it is—no Wi-Fi other than the first floor; no bar or restaurant on site. There is nothing within walking distance, and we have to leave the property for any needs. Wanted to enjoy a few drinks without worrying about driving.
Paid for an upgraded room online, but had to take a first-floor room because I needed the wifi to complete some work.
What a sweet place! Obviously we're here in the off-season and mid week, as there are only 2-3 other rooms booked tonight. But I'm so impressed! Right on the beach, the facilities are authentic and well-cared for. We went to dinner down the street at the main resort, and had great service. We would stay here again in a heartbeat..

Cleaning staff never came to make the room. Coffe kit only for the first morning.
At least, they should have a coffe machine for mornings, had to drive for it.

A few steps from the beach
Very nice place, no restaurant, no bar, must travel for food. Bed was comfortable, internet works well.
Great hotel and sraff
We have stayed at this property many times. Unfortunately the on property restaurant and bar are permanently closed. We have also had some issues with getting housekeeping to clean our room and the floors seem like they need a deep cleaning.
Wanted to charge me a higher fair

This time I was very very disappointed in the condition of the bathroom. Hair on the shower wall, the plug for the tub did not work and the fan sound was loud and disturbing!
I registered these complaints and the front desk seemed not to care about my experience at all.
Rooms were clean! Pool was clean! Atmosphere was great only wish the pool bar had been open
We got a room with a faukty bed, caused back pains, headache and we did notify mngmnt but they opted to wait till mid morning to get an approval from the mangr... by then, our plans were shot after effects of sleep deprivations. We left the hotel and requested full refund.
