Hotel Beatriz Playa & Spa

The "superior" double room. Not worth the money. It was filty. The Staff were very ignorant. We had a bursted sewage pipe below our balcony and the smell was unreal . When we complained we were told to stay a night in the room until they could find a replacement. When we showed them the video. The quickly moved us.

The hotel is rated as 4 stars. I would give it 3 at best. Just becuase there is a spa on site doesn't mean the rest of the hotel is 4 star

The food wasn't great

La referencia calidad - precio es ridícula , es un hotel bastante mediocre por que el precio no lo acompaña , si su precio fuera más realista mi opinión sería distinta ya que sabría a lo que voy

The Food was generally very poor .
The Room wasn't great . No coffee making facilities , only one mirror in the room in the bathroom none out in the living area , The shower was disgraceful . To get any power it was too hot , to get the right temperature it was a trickle . The lighting was poor .
The staff were generally miserable and unfriendly .
If the weather was bad there was nowhere really to sit out of the rain and wind where you could relax with drink . The pool bar terrace was available but outside . They only opened the seated inside area for breakfast and Lunch not to sit in and relax out of the wind and rain and the main bar only opened at 6.00 pm . We spent some time in the room .
We have a special needs Son and looked for the late checkout on the last day ( happy to pay ) but it was a flat NOT possible as booked out . I checked on their website and there was availability for that night . We were leaving at 4.00 pm to go to the airport having arrived at 7.00 pm on our arrival day . I'm sure other guests would have been arriving at the later time but it was just a Flat NO . Very unhelpful .

No es que no nos gustara, pero como recomendación, deberían buscar alguna alternativa para cuándo hace viento, ya que tanto la puerta como el cristal, dan bastantes golpes y para alguien con sueño ligero, no descansa mucho que digamos jeje. Pero por lo demás muy bien.

It would be helpful if reception staff did not lie. A lock did not work on our door when we asked a Cleaning staff member to show us how it worked she was on to maintenance staff and it was fixed within 10 minutes, at the same time my sister went to reception staff and was told that it did not work and that a key card was all we needed. We also needed help with the sliding doors which are only locked with a cheap very cheap lock doors in both rooms did not work. Certainly not true. It would be a minimum standard if you could get an extra pillow when you explain that you have had double hip operation at 3pm and then told that you could get it tomorrow. It is minimum standard to have a clean room, we arrived on Thursday and noticed coffee stains near reception which were still there when we left on Sunday. We had thought to go to the spa as I was on a Hen's party (hotel aware) but the main hotel was so dirty that we could not chance that or the pool. I have as does my sister health problems and dirty is a major problem. What looked like curry or smoke stains on the headboard are easy to repaint or clean on monthly or even yearly maintenance. In your reception where plaster has fallen off the walls is easy to repair dirty walls in your rooms are a quick paint job one floor per year Holes in your bathrooms tiles are easy to repair even with just plaster.

Las camas no es cómodo. No la de costa teguise ni la de puerto del Carmen, esta vez no pude disfrutar de el desayuno. Se podría hacer un bono para reclamarlo cuando haya una próxima y si tienes cama. Normal que no sea pegada siempre toca camas pegadas y no es tan cómodo

Room quality was poor, 2 starbat most. Furniture was shabby, wardrobe doors very hard to slide. TV angled on Wall, TV remote batteries held in with tape. Tables falling apart. Drawer front came off.

Pagando casi 200e por noche me asignaron una habitación sin reformar de hace 40 años, paredes sucias, hormigas por todos lados, cama incómoda y antigua, puerta del baño con desconchones. Creo que nunca he visto tan mala relación calidad precio en otro alojamiento.
