The Shower
The ice machine was not working
Located in a nice area. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was great as well.
The ceiling in the hallway are you extremely low.

I liked the plain bagels, I liked that there was a workout room with good weights, I liked the tea selections
I didn’t like how dirty the hotel was. It felt like a motel room, the room was dingy, walls, windows appliances were run down, the room smelled bad. I was uncomfortable but sucked up staying for the one night; I didn’t even bother using the iron, for the board actually fell apart as I was opening it I had to wear wrinkled clothes.
The doors to each hotel door slams so hard you hear and feel it shake your hotel room. You can hear every footstep made by the guest staying above you which made it extremely difficult to get any rest.
Was tolerable for 7-10 hour stay I’m glad I didn't check in on time with the original plan of resting after long travels

It was a great wooded hillside location just outside the shopping area. The room had a kitchen and was very large with tv in the bedroom & living room. A great dollar value with personable staff and well above average breakfast. Very impressive!

Service was great, and everyone working here was very nice. I’ve stayed here once before a couple of years ago, but since then I think there are some issues.
The AC didn’t work very well in all three of our rooms. It would turn on, but it was barely cooling, and because of that, all the rooms were humid and kind of hot until late into the night. We all had trouble sleeping, and since we were on a tight schedule, I really needed my crew to get rest.
Another big issue is the elevator — it was straight up scary. It kept breaking, including once while we were inside of it. I honestly thought it was going to fall; it was making a very loud noise and clearly needs major repair. Ignoring this could get someone hurt. The door was also opening and closing strangely, and one time it almost closed on one of our arms. At this point I can’t say we’ll be back. It was close to $3,000.00 for these rooms and they were NOT worth that.
We come to Birmingham every year for Barber Vintage Festival. Stay here every year and it’s always fabulous. Great staff, clean and comfortable beds. AC works well. Breakfast always tasty. Location close to everything.
