Ausgezeichnetes Hotel, das seinen Preis durchaus wert ist.
Pros:

Die Lage direkt neben dem Stadtstrand und an der Uferpromenade ermöglicht weite Spaziergänge sowohl Richtung Puerto del Carmen als auch Richtung Costa Teguise. Das Zentrum ist in zehn Minuten erreichbar. Der Ausblick aus den oberen Etagen, speziell aus dem 17. Stock, erfasst weite Teile der Insel. Das tägliche Frühstücksbuffet ist so, wie man s von einem Fünfsternehotel erwarten darf.

Cons:

Die Liftanlagen könnten etwas rascher reagieren - doch das gilt auch für sehr viele andere Hotels auch.

Stunning view and wonderful staff
Pros:

Breathtaking view from our room in the infinity suite on 13th floor. Absolutely stunning.

Cons:

The lifts could be upgraded, they are really small and a bit shabby for such a big hotel and it sometimes took a while for the lift to arrive and then it was full because service staff + their equipment use same lifts as guests

Super Silvester in erstklassigem Hotel
Pros:

Wir hatten über Silvester/Neujahr eine wunderbare Zeit im AGH.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
Das gesamte Hotel ist super-sauber.
Die Lage, direkt an der Strandpromenade und nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß in die Fußgängerzone / zum Weihnachtsnarkt ist super.
Das Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen), beides in Buffetform ist phantastisch und zu Silvester legten sie noch eins oben drauf. Das Unterhaltungsprogramm an Silvester, war für unseren Geschmack nicht so der Renner. Die Cover-Band war gut, aber die Songs, die sie spielten etwas zu alt, fast alles Rock'n'Roll aus den (50er und) 60er Jahren. Musik aus den 70er, 80er- Jahren bis heute hätte uns mehr zugesagt.
Die Bar im 17. Stock mit Live- Musik ist toll, mit klasse Auasicht.
Insgesamt 4 tolle Tage in einem super Hotel.

Cons:

Es gibt absolut nichts zu meckern.

We were pleasantly impressed by the hotel
Pros:

We had no expectations but had let the staff know it was our anniversary celebration that weekend so they left us a note and champagne in our room which was incredibly thoughtful and kind. The room was amazing and had a great view of the sea. Breakfast was incredible and very filling. Bathroom was amazing and very clean.

Cons:

Surprisingly we could hear guests in their rooms, for example we could hear them flushing the toilet and having a shower which we didn’t expect and made us wonder if they could hear us too. Also the beds were very comfortable but it was 2 single beds pushed together and they kept separating so my husband ended sleeping on one bed and me on another as we didn’t want to risk falling through the middle while sleeping.

Great Expectations.
Pros:

The hotel is lovely. The views are stunning!
The rooftop bar is fab. The woman server was just lovely.

The pool cafe is fantastic. Juilete is wonderful. We really like her.

Alessandro, who makes the welcome drinks, is so welcoming and funny! We really like him!

The chap at the omelette station today, 20.01.26, was so pleasant. He made my omelette perfectly!

The sangria is the best!

Cons:

The receptionist who checked us in completely ignored us despite us standing right in front of him and his desk. He did not pay us the slightest attention until we made the decision to sit down at his desk.. A bit like crossing the road in lanzarote, you have to step out!

We found his behaviour quite rude, but maybe it's a cultural thing.

The pool temperature is a bit low. Last year the pool was so lovely and warm. It's a bit disappointing.

Our hotel room was quite cold. Hotel staff brought a heater that resolved the situation.
