Pros:

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a great selection, and it was something I looked forward to each morning. The hotel’s location is also a strong advantage, making it convenient and well-situated. In addition, the room service was efficient and of good quality. When you first arrive, the reception area is very well presented and gives a strong first impression.

Cons:

My overall experience was disappointing. Despite the impressive reception, the rooms themselves felt quite basic and did not match the expectations set on arrival. I had specifically requested a double bed but was given two single beds instead. There were also multiple maintenance issues throughout my stay. Over the four days, the electricity in my room failed three times due to a fuse box issue, which required repeated intervention. One night, I left the air conditioning on to cool the room, only to wake up to a pool of water on the floor caused by a leaking AC vent. Additionally, when I requested an iron, the one provided was in poor condition and leaking, meaning I had to contact reception again to have it replaced.

Good - but not as good as it used to be.
Pros:

Breakfast is excellent you couldn't ask for better, coffee from 2 of the machines was was excellent one was not good. The views are excellent ... we really like the city view for interest. The rooms are spacious well equipt and spotlesly clean

Cons:

The pool area really needs some TLC this was our third visit and the first time we haven't used the pool area as it was in such a state of disrepair it felt unloved and neglected, the weather wasn't good but you couldn't enjoy the area as the wind was whistling in through the missing glass roof panels. very disappointed.

A grand experience
Pros:

Great central hotel, fabulous welcome from reception, nice glass of complimentary wine. The hotel is spotless, smells great as you walk through the door.

Our suite 1405 was just amazing, certainly worth the upgrade, lovely beds, fresh towels and fluffy white bath robes, fresh water everyday. Fridge in the room and tea and coffee making facilities. View to die for.

Floor 17 for the bar was great too.

Swimming pool area great vibes.

Room for improvement

Lack of lifts and they looked tired and in need of a re vamp. Long waiting times.

The balcony could be a fabulous place to sit but several panels of glass were cracked and looked unsightly. This wouldn’t take much to out right.

I would though certainly recommend this lovely hotel

Cons:

Oh dear, the elevators! Waiting times. It good. 4 elevators are not coordinated and so people push buttons for all4 and you stop all the time for nothing. No staff elevators so they add to the elevator load. It was a significant problem.

Service very poor to follow up with lost property
Pros:

Hotel and staff were quite friendly and helpful except when I reported that I had left property in my room, shortly after checking out.
From then on service was very poor
