Highly recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Great Rooms, Reasonable rates, great breakfast, friendly staff. Great location in easy walking distance to the train station, Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge and tours.

Affordable, centrally-located Hotel in Luzerne
Pros:

The breakfast had something for everyone's tastes and was quite copious. The room had a/c (thankfully) and the bed was comfy: not too firm or soft. It was clearly a newer bed. The room was intended for one person traveling solo and for that reason, it was perfectly designed. I had space to put the large pet stroller (think the size of a toddler stroller) and although the bathroom was tiny (who cares?) I was able to put the cat litter box in front of the toilet. My large suitcase fit perfectly on the suitcase stand and I saw there was a wardrobe for clothes and a safe, etc but I didn't use it.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. One of the staff (he may have been an owner or manager) even made a call to the Mt Pilatus cable car to ask questions for me (and yes, it sounds silly, but I was curious as to whether I could take my cat with me, as we would have been checked out before we could do the climb and I was not leaving her in the car). He asked with as straight a face as possible and since I understand German, I could hear that he was not making snide remarks to the person on the receiving end.

Speaking of the car and parking, there's ample street parking one street over. You pay the hotel and they set it up for you. You can unload/load the car in front of the hotel itself.

The hotel has a small elevator, which worked great.

Checkout is a generous noon. I got confused and rushed around seeing Luzerne, assuming I had to be out by 10 or 11 because I forgot to verify. It worked out well because the location is fantastic. In a three-hour period, I took all the photos of Luzerne, then visited some shops for a couple of hours, all within 5-10 min walking distance of the hotel. This was just a quick overnight, a way to break up the driving before the bigger portion of the trip in and around Interlaken.

VERY pleased with the experience and will gladly stay here again!

L’emplacement proche du lac et de la vieille ville

Cons:

La taille de la chambre trop petite et la climatisation était bruyante pour un résultat peu satisfaisant au niveau température de la chambre que l’on ne pouvait pas régler

Wouldn’t stay here again. Save your money and go to a hostel

Cons:

Front desk agents were all extremely rude, in accommodating and un hospitable. Room said air conditioning but there is no air conditioning, it was overall very unpleasant for such a high price. Having decent and nice front desk agents and general hospitality is the bare minimum.
