Decent but has potential
Pros:

Not too far from things and the staff is nice.

Cons:

The beds are so hard. My back is in so much pain. Also the beds should be changed everyday and rooms cleaned up everyday unless otherwise told not to. Also things like ear swabs, pajamas, slippers & etc. should be in the room not something we have to ask for.

A fantastic family stay in Tokyo — spacious rooms, a great location and wonderful staff made MIMARU
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at MIMARU Tokyo Shinjuku West. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well designed for our family, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to transport, restaurants and convenience stores, making it a great base for exploring Tokyo.

We also really enjoyed the breakfast — it was fresh, convenient and a great way to start the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons:

There honestly wasn't much we didn't like about our stay.

Pros:

We booked this last minute due to a change of plans and got a great room rate. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the room was just awesome - the kids and adults all loved it (and the kids really loved setting up their tatami mat beds). We had the Japanese style family room. After staying somewhere else for the first 6 nights, the beds here were just so good - we had the best sleep of the trip. We ended up moving to the other family room with the bunk for an additional night as we really liked the hotel - it was again a great rate booking last minute :) Highly recommend this place!!!
