Nice and simple
Pros:

The area is so quiet, 10 minutes walk from metro station.

Cons:

We tried Osaka with the same brand the 6 bed room was more spacious and better layout.

Pros:

We had a good stay at Mimaru. The biggest plus was the location, very convenient for getting around and the apartment itself was spacious and had everything you need, which made it comfortable for a family. Great staff in the reception.

Cons:

The laundry room was unfortunately dirty and poorly kept. The machines also don't let you select temperature or wash settings, so you can't control how clothes are washed. Worth improving.

Location was very convenient - close to Shinjuku station, but still away from the chaos - quiet location.

Convenient location with spacious rooms.
Pros:

The location was an easy 10 walk to the main Shinjuku train station. The room setup was very convenient for a family of 4 (two teenagers & two adults) and nice to have a fridge for cold drinks (we didn't cook in the kitchen). The dining table was a bonus to have an extra space to hangout and appreciate the air cleaners in the room. The laundry room is very efficient and a 30 min wash or dry time (need 100yen coins). This is good hotel option if you just need a spacious, clean room and don't require many additional hotel amenities (no breakfast, restaurant, bar or lobby to hangout in).

Cons:

In the bathroom, there is minimal counter space and it needs more hooks or bars to hang towels for 4 people.

Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
Pros:

We had a great stay here! It was the first leg of our Japan trip and it was a great place to settle in and wind down after each long day of walking and exploring.

The staff was so warm and helpful. We borrow some games from the front desk and my kids and I thought it wasn’t working right so I brought it down. Instead of just noting that something wasn’t right with it- they offered to play it with us right there! (Spoiler alert- it was user error; nothing was wrong with the game.) It made for a fun time and laughs.

We loved our visit here. We actually ended our trip at another MIMARU family apartment during the last leg of our trip and it was equally wonderful and enjoyable.

Good stay
Pros:

Wonderful stay, rooms were very comfortable for a family of 5. Nice facilities, 15 minutes walk to Shinjuku station. The staff is engaging and makes you feel welcomed.

Family oriented hotel.
Pros:

Rooms with 4 beds for a family.

Cons:

A bit further from train station than other properties. Rooms were smaller than the other Mimaru suites I stayed at during my vacation.

Pros:

Great location. Lovely staff. The little kitchen was helpful although we didn’t really cook - just used the microwave, fridge and boiled water.
We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids, so we had the tatami mats set up as another bed. It made the space more cramped and wasn’t the most comfortable (although that’s to be expected).
