Disappointing
Pros:

On the plus side the Inn is convenient to most everything in downtown. The staff were all very pleasant from the front desk to the housekeeper.
The rooms are all individually owned so each room is set up as the owner decides. We were in #106. This room is in dire need of an update. The mattress was a marshmallow, the worst I’ve slept in ever. The tile floor has major cracks and chunks missing. The area rugs are old and frayed. The furnishings old thrift store items. The continental breakfast was cold cereal and Winn-Dixie muffins.

Great Inn at a great price
Pros:

We have stayed at this property numerous times. My wife probably more than 30 times. Location is great. Walking distance to the village, pier and many great restaurants. Our room this time (110) was not as great as others we have had. Very small bathroom area. Partially our fault as we picked this one as the others we like were unavailable. Rates are great this time of year. Staff is awesome especially Monet and Tasha at the front desk. Housekeeping staff is always super friendly. We come to SSI at least once a year and will stay at the Inn again for sure. Just not in 110.

Pros:

The room was a good size. Beds were soft. The tub/shower did not have a bath mat or any anti slip stickers so it was worrisome. Great location and had muffins and cereal each morning.

Wasn’t at the pool. Too chilly. Room temp was nice. Pillows too hard. Phone was making some noise. I loved our stay and hope to stay again. Thank you

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location is within walking distance to several shops, restaurants, and playgrounds. The staff was also friendly. We would stay here again.

Pros:

We had a problem with the room next door and staff attempted to fix it. Hotel mgt was very helpful and took care of us when notified.

Some electrical issues were being addressed also.
We did recommend this hotel to my family and would go back knowing changes are being made.

I enjoyed my stay at the Saint Simons Inn by the Lighthouse. My only comment would be that the breakfast options are limited to sweet or savory breads and pastries. There was some fruit, but it was still not suitable for anyone with dietary restrictions. Nevertheless, the area offered plenty of breakfast places with nutritious and delicious offerings on their menus.

I stayed in Room 200. The view of the lighthouse was nice. The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful. This was one of the most pleasant stays I've experienced. I will come back.

Pros:

The staff was fantastic. Taylor was our personal assistant. She made sure all our needs were met and went out of her way to make everything perfect. Everyone assisted the general manager who also worked tirelessly to be sure all guests were happy. Loved our room and will return often as we discovered this gem in an ideal location.

Disappointing
Pros:

Very disappointed in our stay. We were there for an event and on checking in on first day we were informed key machine wasn’t working so reception had to open door for us . Sadly this went on for the duration of our stay which was aggravating . The staff were friendly and apologetic but honestly no one seemed to have an answer as to how and when it could be resolved.
Just a drag not being able to easily access room when we needed to without hauling all the way to reception to get an escort with the master key.

Pros:

The first night we had no hot water and nothing was done about it until the next day. Then my wallet was knocked off countertop by house cleaners and pushed under the bed. When I finally found it $80.00 in cash was gone. Spoke with manager about it and of course nothing was done.
I have stayed here several times and never had any problems. This stay was awful and will not stay here again.
