Die Lage des Hotels, das sehr geräumige Zimmer, die tolle Außenanlage mit den vielen Pools und Liegen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und reichhaltig

Cons:

Schimmelbefallender Käse, kaputte Gläser am Rand haben nichts in einem 5 x Hotel zusuchen. Auf den Kaffee warte man teilweise 10 min. usw.
Dies wurde zwar zur Kenntnis genommen, aber mehr auch nicht.
Es haben sich alle Angestellten sehr berühmt, bei einigen ist aber noch schulungsbedarf notwendig.

Leider wurde das Zimmer auch immer erst nach 15 Uhr gereinigt. Der Teppichboden wurde nicht abgesaugt und sah auch nicht so sauber aus. Und es fehlten immer wieder mal Handtücher, die wir erst durch Reklamation nachträglich bekommen hatten.

Poor health and safety
Pros:

We stayed at the Bay Hotel between 1 April to 4 April 2026. On 2 April we woke to find brown, contaminated water coming from the taps, shower, and also in the toilet. Unfortunately my son and daughter had not initially noticed the change in the water (presumably the change was gradual) and had showered and brushed their teeth. I spoke to the manager who stated that the issue was hotel wide. I asked why we hadn’t been informed but was only told that they were switching to the reserve water supply.

Unfortunately both my son and daughter became ill. Initially the hotel was supportive and arranged a Doctor but they refused to do so when the illness continued into the 4th day until we argued with them. The illness continued throughout our stay and ruined the holiday for my son and daughter.

The hotel showed little interest in their well being while we were there. For example, on one of the evenings we arranged room service as my son and daughter could not leave their rooms. It took over 1 hour to deliver a piece of toast, a croissant, and an apple!

Since returning to England the hotel has shown no interest in the well being of my children. We are seasoned travellers but have never seen brown, contaminated water in a 5 star hotel nor such a poor response from the hotel.

We suggest that you look elsewhere for accommodation.

Enjoyable but not perfect

The breakfast was very nice and location very good.

The hotel to go to airport at 5.15am there was 3 take away trays with food left right at

AMAZING BAY HOTEL
Pros:

The hotel was excellent both in service and staff. He had an opportunity to play tennis. The complimentary ride to and from airport was pure luxury.
