Every bit of our stay was lovely, comfortable, welcoming

wirklich nette Gastgeber; gemütliches rustikales charaktervolles Inn; zwar kein Frühstück-es werden früh Kaffee und Kekse/Gebäck bereitgestellt; immer Kaffee, Tee, Wasser verfügbar; gemütliche Aufenthaltsräume, mehrfach die Woche hat die Burger-Bar offen und man gleich abends im Hotel essen; schöne Lage und Blick in der Natur, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon; trotz der kleinen Kritik würden wir hier auf jeden Fall wieder buchen

aufgrund eines Wespenproblems durch das noch sehr warme Wetter konnten die Fenster nicht geöffnet werden, das konnten wir verstehen; allerdings ist die eingebaute Klimaanlage derart laut, dass diese bei Aufenthalt im Zimmer nicht angestellt werden konnte - wir konnten die Belüftung mit dem Balkon erreichen

I liked it so much that I am willing to stay here if I get to travel the area again.
Pros:

The location and the view from the hotel were exceptional! The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very enjoyable.

Cons:

The building doesnt have an elevator, so if you are staying on the top floor, which I did, going up and down with your luggage can be a bit of work.

The view and grounds are very pretty, but amenities are pretty scarce. Drinking water is not even available and I would have loved some conditioner with the shampoo. We couldn't work the temperature regulator so the room was chilly. It was okay for one night but I would not have been inclined to stay longer. We were ready to leave at close to 11am the next day but housekeeping came in without even knocking.

The views are amazing and it is a quick drive to Pollys Pancakes!

Cons:

With the high ratings I read about I was immediately Disappointed when I walked in. We had to drag our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Our room code was just written on a piece of paper and then didn't work. No one was at the desk upon arrival or departure. The bathroom was tiny but then we had a huge empty room with a tub. No desk in the room. Glad it was a quick stay!

Pros:

Beautiful property with a tranquil surrounding, the room has a view of the White mountains and the trees in the huge yard are in peak fall color. A good place for romantic escape.

The down side is that the room does not have a table/desk, it has only one small chair for double occupancy. Room is clean with nice bedding.
