A little heads up about pool bookings in advance of your arrival:
- Pool space, sunbeds, cabanas and tables around the pool are only for the use of hotel guests like you.
- You can use the pool amenities until 10:30 AM without any reservations.
- We start our reservation system from 11 AM. We have 2 slots available: 11 AM - 3 PM and 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM with minimum spend of 40 EUR for loungers and 80 EUR for cabanas. Loungers are for solo use and cabanas can fit up to 4 people.
- We recommend making a reservation in advance to guarantee a place.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Pros:

Ah, what a cool hotel! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was ok - relatively limited buffet, but at least majority of it was tasty. The coffee was excellent. We stayed in a biggie room and it was very comfortable, with a really cool decor. Bathroom does not have a bath, but the massive shower makes up for it. We also loved Hoxton’s own branded toiletries - I will definitely be ordering the body cream because that scent is amazing. Location is also great - not overly central, but honestly having always stayed central in BCN, I actually much preferred Poblenou as it’s still walking distance to everything, but less crowded. Brilliant playground right by it (we have a kid) and big shopping centre across the road for anything you may need. We will definitely be staying there again.

Cons:

Luckily all these are easily fixable;
- The in room dining menu is extremely limited - to the point we regretted to be too tired to eat out in town as the food wasn’t great.
- The smart tv would also benefit from having streaming apps installed so customers can log in with their own accounts as everything on tv is Spanish (totally expected as you’re in Spain!).
- Finally, the randomest one - the toilet paper was awful - it was like something out of 1980’s Eastern Europe.

Gute Lage, schönes Hotel aber nicht zuende gedacht

Lage super und sehr bequemes Bett, schöne Einrichtung, nettes Personal, großes Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht

Cons:

Kein Schrank und kein Stauraum im Zimmer, Minibar nur mit Wasser aus der Dose und Milch gefüllt, keine Absaugung im Bad, keine Klobürste im Bad, keine Kaffeemaschine, schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis...

Fantastisch verblijf in een waanzinnig hotel!
Pros:

Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk, super behulpzaam. Ruime, schone kamers en een geweldig interieur in het hele hotel. Het gebruik van (gratis of betaalde e-bikes) fietsen was het heel handig, wij hebben hier tijdens ons verblijf veel gebruik van gemaakt. Locatie was prima, wijkje zelf is niet heel gezellig maar met de fiets ben je snel op leuke, gezellige plekjes in de stad!

Cons:

Bij de check-in hadden ze niet aangegeven dat de bar op het rooftopterras nog niet geopend was waardoor onze eerste ervaring daar even 'tegenviel'. Het terras zelf was wel open, je kon beneden een drankje halen en zelf meenemen naar boven.

Absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel in guter Lage
Pros:

Die Lage in Poublenou, neben dem Torres Glories, ist etwas außerhalb des "Zentrums" d.h. der Altstadt. Allerdings ist es auch angenehm ruhig dort, gerade wenn man den Tag mit vielen Touristen verbracht hat. Zum Strand ist es ein kurzer Spaziergang über die Rambla von Poblenou. Das Personal ist super freundlich, das Hotel hat eine richtig schöne Dachterrasse. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und sehr gut, in einem angenehmen räumlichen Umfeld. Fahrräder können kostenlos ausgeliehen werden (außer E-Bikes). Die Pizza in dem Restaurant ist super. Schöne Bar.

Cons:

Es hat uns alles gefallen. Vielleicht ein Verbesserungsvorschlag: eine Kaffepad-Maschine auf dem Zimmer wäre besser als der Pulverkaffee...
