A little heads up about pool bookings in advance of your arrival:
- Pool space, sunbeds, cabanas and tables around the pool are only for the use of hotel guests like you.
- You can use the pool amenities until 10:30 AM without any reservations.
- We start our reservation system from 11 AM. We have 2 slots available: 11 AM - 3 PM and 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM with minimum spend of 40 EUR for loungers and 80 EUR for cabanas. Loungers are for solo use and cabanas can fit up to 4 people.
- We recommend making a reservation in advance to guarantee a place.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

A recommended stay when being in Barcelona
Pros:

The facilities were clean, the room nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. The rooftop with the bar gives a nice view on Barcelona and seems to be liked by hotel guests and other people alike. The staff was very friendly and helpful when another guest arrived late for the same room.

Cons:

The elevators came to a capacity limit and signals which one to take to go to the rooftop was missing.

Cool vibe in a cool area.
Pros:

The staff were so lovely, they surprised us for our anniversary and the room was nice. Rooftop pool / bar was very cool. And the neighbourhood is great. Heaps of cafes and bars and a nice stroll to the beach.

Cons:

Ordering a taxi was annoying. Storage if you’re staying a long time was tight. But we just asked for extra hangers. Nothing major though.

A stylish hotel with great amenities, but the overall experience lacked thoughtful customer care for the price point
Pros:

The hotel is stylish and clearly positioned as an upscale property, great pool terrace and view of the Sagrada Família with thoughtful details throughout. Its modern design, including real flooring instead of carpet, creates a clean and refined atmosphere. Music in the room added a welcoming touch. Bathroom amenities were high quality, featuring generously sized bottles of soap, lotion, conditioner, and shampoo. The towels were of good quality, and the beds were comfortable with well-appointed pillows. The staff were friendly and approachable.

Cons:

The hotel is stylish and clearly positioned as a higher-end property, but the overall experience lacked the level of thoughtfulness you would expect at this price point.

Parking was unnecessarily confusing. There are two lots beneath the hotel, yet no one at check-in mentioned that one is a paid public lot. This resulted in an avoidable extra charge that could have easily been prevented with clearer communication during reservation booking and check-in.

All entrances except the main door were locked. In 100°F heat, having to walk all the way around the building with luggage and children felt unreasonable and poorly considered. It’s hard to understand the rationale behind limiting access in this way.

The most disruptive issue was the construction directly in front of the hotel. Loud hammering began around 7:30 am and continued throughout, making it difficult to rest or enjoy the room. There was no prior warning, no acknowledgment at check-in, and no effort to mitigate the impact, such as offering earplugs.

Additionally, despite booking for four guests, the room was not properly prepared. The sofa bed was not made, and there were not enough towels, requiring us to follow up with housekeeping after arrival.

Overall, while the hotel looks polished, the lack of attention to guest experience and basic communication made the stay feel below expectations for the price.

Was mir am besten gefallen hat, war die zentrale Lage des Hotels. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, darunter die Sagrada Família, sind schnell erreichbar. Auch der Strand, das Nachtleben, Märkte sowie Bahnhöfe und Taxistände befinden sich in der Nähe. Dadurch ist das Hotel ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um Barcelona zu erkunden. Allerdings muss jeder für sich entscheiden, ob diese gute Lage den insgesamt hohen Preis rechtfertigt.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat einen ganz eigenen Stil und eine besondere Atmosphäre. Der Vibe ist nicht schlecht, aber er muss einem gefallen. Auf den Bildern sieht man ziemlich genau, was einen erwartet – das Hotel entspricht optisch den Fotos.

Die Badewanne war leider nicht richtig nutzbar, da das Wasser trotz geschlossenem Abfluss langsam ablief.

Der Reinigungsservice war für mich die größte Enttäuschung. Trotz meiner langen Abwesenheit wurde das Zimmer teilweise nicht gereinigt und ich musste sogar selbst nach frischen Handtüchern fragen. Mein Tipp: Wenn ihr Zimmerservice möchtet, sagt an der Rezeption ausdrücklich Bescheid und erinnert das Personal am besten jedes Mal daran.

Ein weiterer Minuspunkt ist der Fernseher. Es gibt keinen Smart-TV, sondern nur normale TV-Sender. Wenn ihr krank seid oder einen Abend im Zimmer verbringen möchtet, nehmt besser ein Tablet oder Laptop mit, da weder YouTube noch Streaming-Apps verfügbar sind.

Positiv war der Essensservice aufs Zimmer. Das Essen wurde zuverlässig gebracht. Die Pizza war wirklich lecker, nur der Burger war bei mir etwas zu stark angebraten.

Mein größter Kritikpunkt ist jedoch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für den Preis hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Mit etwas Suche findet man – vor allem über Booking mit guten Angeboten – für einen geringen Aufpreis sogar Fünf-Sterne-Hotels. Dieses Hotel hat sich für mich nicht wie ein Vier-Sterne-Hotel angefühlt. In Barcelona gibt es meiner Meinung nach bessere Vier-Sterne-Hotels zu einem ähnlichen Preis. Deshalb würde ich dieses Hotel zu diesem Preis eher nicht weiterempfehlen

OK but already thinks its the best!
Pros:

Poor staff attendance - most have more of an attitude than the guests!
Two loyalty programs do not work.
OK location but you need Uber/Taxi for better restaurants/bars/nightlife.
Pool over-rated and packed, no space to breathe.
Better - trendy' properties nearby.
Us ethe bar areas better with vibes and music catering for the clientele.
Decide if you want to give hotel guests priority or those people that come for the pool and bar....
